I LOVE my Slone.  It rides more like an all-around saddle than a barrel saddle.  It doesn't have super-high swells or cantle.  Also, the stirrups are "normal" and not foward-hung.  I'm not a fan of the "trap" type saddles, so I really like it.  If you like more of a Josey-type saddle, it's not for you.  It also fits everything in the barn, which is awesome!

Β I like a balanced ride. I love the way the Lynn Mckenzie and sherry cervi martin racers sit. They keep you centered. Do they compare to that?

I haven't rideen either one of those, but I do think it rides balanced.  It doens't throw me forward or backward.

My sloan saddle the stirrups are hobbled forward, they are not forward hung, but if I lift my fender up I can see they are hobbled.


I would say more on the pockets compared to the crown c
