Location: Phoenix | Who is feeding Previcox and why? It was recommended for my horse who had some swelling in his knee....just wondering why your horse is on it and what improvements you've noticed? |

Location: Bandera, TX | I feed it to my 25 year old retired mare every day. She has some leg trouble and it really helps her get around.
I also feed it a few days prior to a race to my 15 year old gelding. He moves more freely with it. I really like Previcox. |

Location: In the land of peanuts and cotton | My mare gets it 2 days before a show. The day/days of the show and 2 days after. She has bone spurs and it greatly reduces her pain. From what I understand it works like bute or banamine but isn't as bad on there stomachs. |

Location: Southeast Ga | I also give my 18 y/o arthritic gelding 1/4 tab every evening, but he is on Pentasan too. The combination of the two have worked wonders on him compared to Adequan. He is still a 21 second pole horse, and can run in the bottom of the 1D/top of 2D at our local shows. On the morning of a show I do give him another 1/4 of a tablet just to keep him feeling good... |

Location: North Dakota -> Colorado | It is often fed as an anti-inflammatory. For horses, on the road alot, or those that have arthritis it can help keep the stiffness out of the joints. |

I pay $155 for about 8 months worth. Giving 1/4 227mg per day. So about .65 per day.

Location: South Central Florida | Anyone know what mg they use for daily use for horses? I'm researching the dosing and pricing, looks like it comes in pill form but more than one mg. available. |

| We give it to one of our older barrel horses. She runs out of her pen rather than walk. She bucks and plays rather than stands and walks around. It makes a big difference in all our horses that we have given it to. |

Do you feed a quarter of a pill or a whole? We have a vet appointment next week. Want to talk to my vet about this, but I'm sure it will be cheaper online. He is good about this kind of stuff, IF I have done my own research... :)

I feed 1/4 of a pill per day. It was 1/2 price for me to buy online so you're very smart to do your research.

Location: Phoenix | My horse also has arthritis in his hocks....so I guess I'll keep him on it. (Once I get it). From Valley Vet I was looking at getting 30 ct of 227 mg (4 month supply because you feed 1/4 pill) for $85. |

I've never had to have a scrip. My vet gets them in boxes of 80. I think I pay like $88 for a box. |

I give 1/4 pill a day. 227 mg tablet. I just crush it, and mix it in a syringe with syrup. She loves her morning syrup. She meets me at her gate. I dont even have to put a halter on her. lol |
