How are the roads??  My husband asked me last night if I wanted to go on down to Dallas tonight and make a weekend of The American... and of course I'm gung ho, but the snow has started to fall here.  I'm not worried a lot by the snow... just don't want to run into sleet & ice accumilation!

I live six miles west of I35 close to Ardmore. It's been snowing about 2.5 hours, heavily. Vehicles are still driving on the well traveled road I live on, but not seeing nearly as much traffic as normal.

Snow is coming down pretty well. I bet tomorrow there will be more ice though. Not fun to drive either way. Maybe we'll see you there. :)

Parts of Ft Worth are closed due to weather already. 40 car pile up just S of Sherman on 75. I just came in from Plano Area and roads are getting bad but some people don't comprehend that. I would not if I didn't have to. People are crazy

Copied this from RFD's facebbol page - they put it up about 50 minutes ago.  Don't live in that area - but this may give you some insight.

ATTN barrel racers in ?#‎TheAmerican?! Due to the tough weather today and tomorrow, we have canceled tonight's open ride. We are going to open the arena for riding in AT&T Stadium from 6 to 8 a.m. on Sunday. Thank you.

Just got word from friends in Weatherford area that it is really bad.
Snowing along I 20 east, Terrell area, through to Wills Point.
If you remember, there were thousands of people who got stranded last year leaving the American due to an ice storm. Hope it isnt a repeat.

We are about 55 miles SE of Dallas and we only got some flurries. Yay!  My DH had a meeting in Stephenville this morning and decided it was a good idea to go...he is still stuck in traffic on I-20 in Arlington!  BTW, he didn't even make it to S-ville because of a jackknifed semi.  He had to turn around and head home.
This is what it looks like here:

Ditto on Herbie's shift!  We need to get you a foaling camera.  Tell mama to hold at least until Sun. Thurs would be even better.  We will all need to see pics when the little one gets here. Sooooo exciting!!!

Well she is officially over due now. ( according to all the calculators)
Baby blanket came in today so we are ready.
I am hoping she keeps her legs crossed. It is supposed to be snowing at my house now per hubby.
Kaycee, that is crazy. Jared said they have shut down Tanger Mall due to ice. Terrell was getting hit pretty good.

I second the foaling camera thing!!!!

The roads are bad-they had some of the interstate around Ft Worth shut down-I-75 was shut down earlier up around Sherman. Tomorrow doesn't look any better-suppose to get freezing rain.
