Location: Montana | And I actually had fun! I'm not a fish person, as in I don't like to eat them, but I can now say I have no problem with fishing. I love my horses, but I'm kind of glad that I have another hobby in which I can partake that doesn't cost as much as horses. So, in other words, I had fun today, it was a beautiful day....didn't catch anything, but had some fun with my folks. :-) |

 My Heart Be Happy

Location: Arkansas | You can't ask for a better day! Plus spending quality time with your parents is an extra bonus. I'm older than you are, and I cherish any time I get with my mom and dad. My SO and I gave my momma Eric Church tickets for Christmas. We took my parents and my son and his g/f and stayed overnight in Tupelo MS. Just happened to be Elvis' birthday weekend and both my daddy and son are FANATICS of El, so we went to his home site/museum the morning after the concert. That was the best weekend and I'm so glad I got to make those memories with my family. To bring everyone together and have them enjoy themselves totally when they range in age from 16 to 70 was pretty special. Didnt mean to take your thread, but I'm so glad you enjoyed the fishing trip PLUS the time with your parents. Wishing you many more of those days!

Location: In the land of peanuts and cotton | Fishing is better therapy than anything else. There is nothing better to me than coming home from a long stressful day at work or even a barrel race and going out to the pond and fishing all by my self. I've worked out a lot of problems while out there. I can fish for hours and not catch anything and still be just as happy.

Location: Montana | It was fun enough we hope the weather cooperates to go again soon! But I love ot be outside when it is nice out, but I can't be doing nothing, so this way I'm at least doing something! LOL. We aren't fly fishers...yet, I think my folks would like to try it. I'm good with just casting and reeling...I've finally managed (so far) to not tangle everything up that way, LOL. :)
TessBelle, that is how I am with my horses, things are better when and after I am with them.
