How much do you feed? Do you add it to both feedings? Do you go by dry weight?

it depends on horse's condition, if I am trying to get them to gain, just use it to mask supplements or meds or just because it's cold and I want moisture in the gut. I have mixed it with alfalfa pellets and oats soaked with Amplify for an old horse's diet.

I usually will put half of a 3 qt scoop of Dry in bucket and put warm water over it til its covered and after it sits a few add a lil more warm water.. it usually will absorb and produce about a Full 3 qt scoop of it which I think is 4 1/2 lbs wet..
( i think
) I will put a little more then half of scoop per horse with their grain 2x a day .but its not a set amount just within that range.... I just scoop and pour ..

^^This. I will let it get good and soft to prevent choking.

I feed Renew Gold in the morning and then feed 2 rounded 2 cup measures of beet pulp at night and add FORCO, Electrolytes and was putting a 2 cup scoop of Triple Crown SR. I'm looking to replace the Triple Crown with a different brand and haven't found anything yet.

I feed one heaping 3 quart scoop, once a day. I put it in a bucket, fill to the top of the beet pulp with water, and serve. I don't usually let it soak.

I do this as well. Although they have just been getting it with am grain due to not living where boarded. I add hot water so by time i get to barn its warm and usually bring more hot/warm water so once put in with grain i add more water.

I'm just feeding it as added fiber since the feed im switching to doesnt have the same amount as the feed I was feeding previously.
So maybe a scoop a day max I'm thinking.
Thank you!!
