Martin saddles: has anyone had a racer or a sherry cervi that's not the crown c? How do they fit the horse and rider vs the crown c?

I have a crown c I'm trying to sell and just bought a used racer. I can't wait to ride in it.  The bars are the same in all the Martin barrel saddles but the seat is different. Just from sitting in it on the stand I can tell the racer sits me more on my pockets and feels like it will be easier for me to stay back and not get thrown forward on my downhill, low withered horse. I'll let you know more after I ride in it when the mud dries up a little.

A friend of mine bought an old Cervi last fall for her mare that is really stout and thick.  She said the saddle fit the mare really well.  She tried my Cactus CJ and she said that fit also so I wonder if the bars are flared?   I never saw either saddle on the horse so I'm just going by hearsay.

I'm interested as well... I'm looking to buy a Martin, that's 11 years old, but in good shape. I've worn out my 20 year old Cecil Phillips, and will be taking that in for relining, and repairs...and am truly interested in trying this Martin first.

Recently sold my cactus CJ for a Martin Racer. LOVE the racer and the way it feels, but it could have a little more flare as my gelding is extremely wide (his tree in a Caldwell is the ProMax). He fit a CJ great as that had enough flare for him. This doesn't have too little flare that it won't work, but it's not the ideal fit. Fits everything else (including me) very well. I will say though, I rode a 14'' in a cactus cj, and so I assumed a Martin Racer in a 14" would fit.....I could actually do a 13.5'' more than comfortably. They tend to be a bit bigger than a CJ, could be how it sits you as well.

ETA: I have ridden in Crown Cs and HATED them. They threw me forward on almost everything I ran them in, and just really didn't like the feel of them or the horn placement at all.
