Feel free to share your brand pics |

| Mine is 3". I think a bigger freeze brand ruins a horse. |

Location: In my own little world | We build irons and we like a brand that is 2 to 2 1/2 inches per figure. It is very crisp and noticable from a distance at that size but doesn't turn them into a billboard. |

Can you possibly post a picture of yours? I've been wondering about how big mine should be, later on down the road. I was wanting a 4" but didn't want it to be too big, but big enough where it does stand out with the detail |

Location: Oklahoma | my brand is my avatar picture. We haven't gotten it made yet into a brand but are thinking 3 or 4" tall. I absolutely hate seeing horses with big gaudy brands or brands that have been applied twice to make them really stand out. |

This is the picture my brand is being adapted from. Unfortunately I know there is a lot of detail (it's from my tattoo) that is not going to transfer over well to being a brand, but they are working on simplifying some areas and doing the best they can. It's my tattoo, my brand, my style and it goes with the theme of my business I'm trying to build...Badass Barrel Horses. So I dig it.

Thank you! I really like it. I got my tattoo about 13-14 years ago and I have just always been infatuated with skulls. So it's just very ME. I know there are going to be people that don't care for it and I'm totally cool with that - can't please everyone! |

Location: The best kept secret in TX | Here is ours. We ended up having to brand all of ours after we had a few attempted thefts of our good using horses when we had a larger ranch and more cattle.
We now Microchip AND brand every horse we have. Considering we are down to just two now we haven't used it in a while. But we got it in a freeze brand for the horses and a hot iron for the cattle.
Our horses get the left shoulder done and all our cattle get the left high hip done. We registered ours through Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.

| My family has had the same brand for 65 years. It is simple 707. It is 3 inches and that is plenty big. I have a horse that I bought from a friend that has a Texas with an S in the middle. It is really neat. People comment on it all the time. My horse has been tied with other horses and people ask who has the Wagstaff horse. This girl has always had really good horses. That brand is at least 5 inches tall. It is really pretty neat. |

Location: Louisiana | If the photo will attach, this is mine and my soon to be husband's. Flying W. We just got all of the paperwork back in the mail, so now we need to order our freeze brand.
It is a little larger just because of the detail. But it will be going in our personal forever horses. Not colts bc it is probably too big for a growing horse. It will be on the right shoulder.
