| I think it depends on what type of dog you are using it on... My step mom got one for her poodle and rat terrier and said it didn't work... so she gave it to me and it works well on my lab, heeler, and aussie... |

| Its ok but the cost of buying the blades every year sucks. I like it just as well as a slick brick. |

I dont know what the Furminator is but the horse version might be like the Slick EZ? I LOVE IT!!!!! I have had mine for a year. Who knew a little hacksaw blade would be so versatile!

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | I love the furminator on double coated dogs. There are better options for horses tho, IMO. I use one of those rubber curry deals with the big "fingers", then follow up with a shedding blade. |

These are also super great for cleaning your wool pads and girths. |

| NOT worth 50 bucks but if you can find one at the reasonable price of other shedding blade it's OK my personal opinion is the old shedding blade works just as good and gets a wider area.. Also the old style ones curve to fit around the flank area where the "furmanater" doesn't. |
