This ad has had 807 views and not a SINGLE inquiry.

I've also listed it on Craigslist - not a single interest there either?

Do I need something different/more in the ad?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts/advice!

My only problem would be that it is not a 4 horse.  Otherwise a good ad.

Maybe it's just out of alot of people's price range. Other then that it does look like a nice trailer.

Nice trailer, but I'm thinking lots of people are down sizing, so maybe its more trailer then some people are wanting now adays.

Dang it! That's exactly why I'm selling it! I just don't haul enough to justify it, BUT I'm not so desperate to sell it that I'm willing to take it in the shorts either!

That's my thought too, it is out of a lot of people's price range. But I live in an area where people if they can afford that type of trailer they buy new, and if they can't, they are completely on the other end of the scale and probably $5k or so is on the top end of their price range.

Ad looks good to me too. I bet about half of those hits or more are people dreaming of the day they could afford it. I have no idea on if your price is good but if you have compared it to other similar trailers and priced it fair its just a matter of finding the right person at the right time at the right place. Do you also have it on horse trailer world and FB. Mine sold off of FB on a page set up for horse trailers for sale in my state. Of course mine was a smaller trailer. :

I agree with others that a lot of people are downsizing.  I would not lower the price and just be patient.  Good luck.  It is a nice trailer.

Thanks everybody. I talked to the dealer (Cindy Hamilton on here) that I bought it from before setting the price, so it's in order. I just wondered if I had a glaring mistake in my ad or left something out or what.

I will try to be patient!

Thanks for the compliments, I LOVE the trailer, just hate to see it not being hauled more!

Agree with everyone else…very nice trailer...
constructive criticism…try to think along the same lines as another buyer. i'd guess that “most” spending $50k or more on one would prefer a hay rack/roof storage and generator – and although they could be added, how much $$/time would someone be saving by buying one already with everything they want on it...LQ door placement makes a difference to some.. there are some who would never use a hay rack/generator/care about where the door is…but just a thought.
this is what you are competing against…

This is REALLY nit-picky.... I think you could take better pictures. Yours aren't bad, but in that price range, your trailer needs to look polished. I would wash it, polish the wheels, clean out the dirty shavings, and take the hide off the couch.

Think of it like selling a house...make the person feel like coming in. Organize the tack area, take pictures before you put in clean shavings, then add the shavings. Maybe put pillows on the couch. Make up the bed so it looks nice. That's really the only thing I can think of. Maybe it won't change anything, but you'll have a clean trailer when you're done.

I really like how people elaborate on the details about each feature (and make the bulleted lists) like the second ad has done.  If there is something special about this trailer compared to any other like it, be sure to mention that and show it off.  If I'm going to spend $50K on a trailer, I want some info and will pay attention to the person who gives me the most upfront details on everything.

It's a pet peeve of mine but I too hate seeing pictures of people's trailers where they have not cleaned out dirty shavings before taking sales pictures.  I always think, "Geeze, how often have you left 'my' future trailer dirty with horse crap/pee sitting in there rotting out the mats and boards?  Is it ever washed?"

If I'm buying something, I like to see the true condition of the floor and know how worn the mats are.  When someone has the floor and sides cleaned up, it makes me think they've really taken care of the trailer and if they are strict about that part, they have probably taken maintenance seriously on other areas.  Same goes for always having a dirty trailer = I'm worried about what other maintenance they have neglected or glossed over.

Pretty much all of that.

first thing I think when I see those pics are if you didn't care enough to clean it up for the pics what else have you done to it.

Now, that being said, I'm not accusing you I'm just telling you what I would think.

Hey...price is right where it should be...ad could use tweaking and the pictures too.  You have to use HTML on HTW to tweak the ad, you don't have near enough information...I know what's in the trailer and I would list a whole lot more info than you have there....if you want to call me with your ad password I can do it for you if you want....

I agree that the trailer should be empty and cleaned up...picture of shower should show the inside and other pictures should be edited to see everything, some are dark.  People like to see the whole layout from the bed area and the bathroom forward too, not just each individual close up...it is nit picky, but in this price range, you have to kind of go overboard...plus, you picked the worse time of year to sell one, in the winter...now is the season, so a few minor tweaks and it will sell without lowering the price....call me & I'll help...

p.s...call me in the morning, I have to leave in a minute today...

Just my thoughts...my husband I purchased our used living quarter trailer last year and found out that most banks only finance used trailers for a max of 5 years... With the price around 50K that is a heavy monthly investment if you do not have a lot saved to put down. So you are somewhat limited to either cash buyers or those who can or want a large monthly note. But it is a very nice trailer!!!

I agree with the others on cleaning the trailer up and having it empty of personal items for pictures. That is what shows care for the trailer. (doesn't mean they really have shown proper care to other things...but it gives a nice impression)

We are actually considering upsizing from our 2 horse with 8ft short wall LQ to a 3 horse like this one or like the one in the other ad. For the $4,000 difference in asking price...I'd be more interested in the second one due to the added features of the stud divider, Hay rack and Generator. And the LQ itself looks like a step up in Shine as well. (Outlaw does a nice LQ)

But I really do like your trailer also. It's a nice set up. And may have all the features some folks need...it would just need a few things added for us...and another trailer like the competing one might win out for that reason.

You are in a good spot if you aren't rushed to sell. You can be patient for the right buyer.
