Just doing some research.  I'd rather get real life opinions.

I tried it. It didn't work for me. It is a fiber based product. You take it with water and it expands in your gut to make you feel less hungry. I didn't lose a single pound on it.

I think a lot of times we try to convince ourselves that we can't lose weight without pills, diets, shakes, wraps, etc. In reality, weight loss is simple. Less calories consumed and more exercise. Eating lean meats, veggies and fruits, and drinking lots and lots of water will help weight less tremendously. Eating clean and getting in a 30 minute walk will also help if you cannot get to the gym. Of course lifting heavy weights will get you much quicker results!

I agree with this to a certain extent. There are people who are just bad eaters and struggle with making good choices when it comes to food. Then there are those of us who can change their life style and still see no noticeable results. I am one of those that could change the way I ate and exercise for an hour and only lose a very minimal amount of weight. The only way I was able to lose any kind of noticeable weight was to eat 900 calories or less, extremely unhealthy. I had spoke to my doctors, been through a barrage of test with no answers as to why.

After struggling with my weight for the last 8 years I was at my wits end. I went through brain surgery last May and was unable to do much of anything for 5 months, I gained a lot of weight and in January I got on the scale and weighed 212 pounds and I was **** determined to do something about it. I have finally found something that has helped me shed my extra pounds and I have been able to lose 28 pounds since January 21st. Don't get me wrong, it was not without clean eating and exercise however. My mom is on the same stuff and hasn't changed a thing in her diet and still has lost 10 pounds in the last 6 weeks. Sometimes it just seems like it is not fair for some of us. We try, we struggle we fail, over and over again. I do not blame anyone for trying to find that one thing that could help them lose a little extra weight if that is what they truly want and they think that is what will make them a little happier and confident in their own skin.

I started taking the TruFix Weight & Energy pills about two weeks ago. I have lost 8 lbs. and I'm am not BSing you. I don't sell the stuff, and I never will, but I love it. I'm not strung out or shaky, I just have decreased appetite. I have been eating way healthier, too, but haven't been exercising any more than normal with it.

I think if there is a medical reason why weight doesn't come off, then yes, I agree, I think a doctor should be seen. However, for the average Joe, eating correctly and getting up can do a lot. We are such an "instant gratification" society, but weight loss can sure be a journey.

I'm not looking for a quick fix.  I'm just looking for something to aid the process.  I've been a big advocate for Adkins, it has worked well for me in the past, but I thought I would try a different approach.  So I'm trying to see what results other people may have had with this product.

Something that people sometimes don't think about is the role of hormones in weight gain or weight loss.  Certain types of birth control will make your body hold on to extra weight no matter what you do.  Sometimes changing the type of birth control will be the magic cure for shedding those stubborn pounds.  Just something to think about that isn't hardly ever mentioned-

eta: I just checked out the Lipozene website and see it is a fiber product that is designed to make you feel "full" so you won't eat much.  I personally think that the key to weight loss is getting your stomach to shrink- not expand.  It will do this naturally by itself by eating your largest meals before 2 pm and then not eating, or lightly snacking on protein if you get hungry before bed time.  Do this for awhile, even if it means going to sleep with a "hungry" stomach and your stomach will shrink to accomodate less food, then you won't feel hungry.  I worked as a personal trainer for 15 years- I learned a few tricks- :)  Good luck- and I think you should pass on the Lipozene-

There was a weight loss pill that prevented fat absorption that worked for me a few years ago, but haven't seen it in stores and I've forgotten the name. If you ate a meal with a lot of fat in it, you would have diarrhea that was hard to control afterwards.
Looked it up and name of pill was Alli. Lipozene did nothing for me.

I'm not sure but I think my dad tried that and it gave him the sh!ts. I don't really believe any of those products work. I was born tubby and since high school have tried to lose weight. After being on a doctor monitored diet, including prescription appetite suppressants, and having my thyroid issues taken care of and still not being able to lose the weight I need to and keep it off I've opted for the surgery approach. Of course I'm a good 130-140 lbs overweight...

My biggest issue with eating the right foods is..... I really can't afford to keep FRESH vegetables and fruit in the house.. Too keep it fresh I really need to buy it a couple times a week and I can't get to the store that often. AND it is expensive.... Some times I have to choose to eat or get my meds... Some times the food wins and I'll buy banana's and oranges... I'm NOT starving... I keep potatoes and pasta around because they KEEP and are cheap.

eta: I haven't used pills for weight loss since I was in my 30's.

Yes Xlife is amaxing!!!! The easiest weightloss/healthy eating/living plan I have ever tried!!! I will be able to actually continue on the eating "plan" once I have achieved my goal weight. I am trying all kinds of new, healthy foods and turns out I LOVE healthy food haha I sleep better, have tons more energy, a much nicer person to be around and I am happy once again. Yes I still have 40ish pounds to go but I will get there! I will be able to finally keep it off. These supplements also help you with your overall health and with joints and cravings and addictions. It's just the bomb!!
