| "Haven't you out grown barrel racing yet?" "It's about time you give that up." "Aren't you a little old for that?"
These are some of the statements I've been hearing lately from several adults including my in-laws and coworkers. I'm 30 for crying out loud, my life isn't over !! Sorry yall! I had to vent a bit! Not sure why I let them get to me but it sure does... does anyone else hear this stuff?!? |

But I can't help but enjoy barrel racing. And if you enjoy it, whose to say your age should dictate whether or not you should enjoy it? |

Location: Back in MT BABY!!! | If they weren't already your "in-laws" I'd say get rid of them!! I tried not having horses one time when I was in graduate school so I could have more time for my grades...I struggled to stay passing and I was a total B!*ch to be around! Brought a colt back during Thanksgiving break and all was good again. My moods settled and school work was a breeze again. |

BOOM^^^^
On a serious note, the people who tear you down are usually incredibly unhappy with their own life choices. Chin up and keep doing what you LOVE to do! |

| tell them no, and when you are too old or crippled to ride you plan on showing halter horses or cart horses. That's what I told mine. It shut them up. |
