That's really cool.
Did he call you or one of his people to let you know this?

| It was on Fox News. I think he has a chance. Given his last name he might appeal to the Hispanic vote. We sure as hell can't continue the way we are going. |

I gotcha
I don't typically watch the news so I wouldn't have seen that.
BTW, he doesn't have a snow balls chance in he ll to be elected. As a matter of fact he won't even win the GOP nom.

| I don't doubt the GOP won't shoot itself in the foot again by thumbing it's nose at Constitutional conservative. They'll probably do what they did last time and ignore grassroots and chose a puppet like Bush. And it looks as if our new member, arion has been around for awhile. Nice to see you again, Dear. |

Arion, the immortal horse, gifted with speech. I googled, lol. Acts more like mr. Ed. I like Cruz, hoping he gets nominated. Pickins are slim, in part, I suppose, by those waiting for their 'free 'handouts. |

Sadly, I think you are correct. He is well known in Texas, but I have heard others from more northern states make statements about him and Perry (not favorable). Unfortunatly a very large majority of people in the USA now adays think the government is suppose to take care of them Most conservatives do not think that way, and I know most Texas do not understand this concept. though I do know of a few Texans that think this way (thankful a small number). I hope and pray that God will instill a Godly man in office and lead our country back to being a strong country again. But if people keep electing someone that makes promises that cannot be kept,at the expense of the common worker, soon we will be on a down hill slide that cannot be fixed and will break our country and make us vulnerable to our enemies that want to destory us. |

My son married into a liberal family. They truly do not care how much someone like Hillary messes up. They are into "social justice," debt forgivness of student loans, freedom of choice, gay marriage and they don't mind electing a murdering, lying person so long as they get to feel good about what they did. Yes, for some reason, this makes them feel good.
A recent poll at Texas Tech showed few college students knew who won the civil war. Do you think they care about four murdered men in a place they can't pronounce?
I would love Cruz, Jindal, Carson or even Perry but don't think any of them can win.

Family gatherings must be interesting. My in-laws are the same way. No clue how my hubby turned conservative Rep but thankfully he did. There's some heated political arguments with his so called father. |

Thanks Riden, for posting a political subject. This board is getting pretty darn dull lately.
Ben Carson, I basically like this man, but his lazy, laid-back monotone way of presenting himself kind of drives me crazy. |
