Regular Posts: 90 Location: Las Vegas	About 12 years ago ant the high school finals in NM there was a vendor there selling these white foam shock absorbing mats that go under your regular trailer mats. We bought them and they are amazing. But I can't remember a name of them or the company and I wanted to replace them. Has anyone heard of these?

Texas Lone Star Posts: 5318 Location: where ever my L/Q trl is parked	I use to have them in my Logan, years ago, bought them at NFR back in '99. They were made of some sort of dense foam 4'x6'x1" sheets, but they were black. You could cut them to the shape of your stalls. They really help to insulate the floor from heat and comfort for the horses. I haven't seen any vendor's sell them since. If I remember right I bought 4 sheets 4'x6' for a bit over $100- course that was 1999, my Logan was a 4h slant load. Holy moley I went to the Impact gel site... $175 for a 30"X20" mats that seems high. I think you could buy high density foam 4'X6' sheet for a lot less. Edited by Aqhaczy 2015-03-22 2:28 PM

Take a Picture Posts: 12841	Robin Herring posted on Facebook the poor girls padding for trailers. I checked it out at Lowes. It is called anti fatigue matting. Comes on a 36 inch roll is about $4.50 A foot. My trailer is a three horse and will cost just under $120. I am going to get some this week.

And it was pretty inexpensive we bought it right there in New Mexico and cut it to fit the trailer while we were at the final so the horse could have it for the way home. The impact gel pads are way too expensive I looked on their website no way. And the fatigue mat and you can get at Lowe's we use to run Flyball on The dog sport. Those mats are very soft and I know they will get damaged easily and they're also very thin the mats. The mats I was looking for are at least an inch thick

Elite Veteran Posts: 1094 Location: Idahome	We recently put in mats that are used for MMA cages. They seem pretty sturdy and were inexpensive. They cam in 2x2x1 inch squares that piece together. We put them direclty on the floor then covered with the rubber mats and have shavings. I can definately tell the difference in softeness when I am in there. I want to say the company name was Rubber Flooring or somehting along those lines. We had requested a sample to make sure it was going to be thick enough and tough enough and got a coupon code for 15% off. We have a 4 horse and did got them for around $140.

My BF and I saw something on RFDTV the other day on a mat he said he knew what it was, that they use them on the oil rigs (was slip resistant)...will have to ask him the name of it again. Big Gun Posts: 2216 Location: Texas	There is a foam shop in Houston that I get my sheets from. 4x8 and the last time I bought them I think they were about $28 a sheet, but don't quote me on that price, it's been a while and my new horse trailer came with them so I haven't bought them recently. They break down after a while where the horse stands but they are well worth.
