| I'll be running an 20+ year old barrel horse this year. I just bought her back after 10+ years of selling her. She is still going strong and former owners did not have her on any supplements. She does have a sway back but does not hinder her at all. Im in my 30's and the gal that owned her was in her teens, of course I weigh more then the former owner and I just want to keep her up and running and looking for the best product to put her on at her age. I was looking at T.H.E. and also Smart Pack Senior as I have them both in my barn. She has no current issues and want to keep her feeling her best! |

| I'm old school, I still think calf manna is the best supplement going. Also a bag isn't exactly cheap on a per head per day basis it's a cheap supplement. |

| I would certainly invest in a series of adequan and then maybe use pentosan monthly in between. Although oral supplements for joints may not be totally absorbed they can't hurt. |

Location: texas | previcox! and joint supplements as well as good natural oils and good protein packed foods. chiro work is most likely needed every ounce in a whil and stretch her very often to keep her from not getting stiff. |

Location: Lost in the swamps | I start with an injectable joint program, and feed an all around vitamin suppliment with adiquate lysine and probiotics incase she is lacking in digestion due to age.

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | THE Muscle Mass. I have my son's super old pony on it and my other son's 22yr old guy. The special blends I use for these 2 are joint & arthritis, ulcer prevent, senior and the pony has laminitis in his.
I'm finally going to do some before and after pictures for everyone to see. I usually just start to feed it and never think to take pictures beforehand. I have a 3yr old gelding I am taking to be started here next week. He's just been a pasture horse the past 2 yrs to grow. So I took some pictures of him and will have more just as soon as he starts to show improvement. |
