Does anyone know of any that actually work? I just need little boosts for the final few hours of work.

Note: I've tried Rockstars, Monsters, and Amps.

I used to drink monsters, the 5-10 calorie ones. Loved them.
But now than I'm back on my health kick, and honestly those are not very good for you. I drink different kinds of teas, or a SPARK energy drink. But teas are a great source of caffiene, green teas with citrius are my fav.

Energy drinks are SO bad for you! Try drinking more water through out the day and maybe at like two eat a high protein snack. A lot of times lack of energy at the end of the day is due to dehydration and hunger. Your body needs a recharge and rather than filling yourself full of yucky chemicals give it what it really wants!

I work nights, and I'm ok up til about 6-6:30am. It's a crash like feeling. So I was just wondering if there was a quick pick me up for that time.

I drink SPARK By Advocare. Main ingredient is B12. All Natural. I love all the flavors. They're my saving grace in the afternoons.

Some people who drink a lot of sugary drinks and energy drinks don't see much difference after drinking a SPARK. But since all I drink is water and an occasional glass of unsweetened tea, I see lots of difference.

Good Luck

I sip on green and oolong tea (one bag of each)in the morning at work, peppermint and green in the afternoons, and that will usually get me through the rest of the day riding, checking cows, feeding horses ect

I worked as a groom at the racetrack and Ihonestly have no idea how I did it without coffee or tea. If Iwas tired at eevening races I would pound a red bull which usually lastedlong eenough to get me to the point of wrapping my horses. Lol

I am a bit of an energy drink aficionado (hence my title). At my old job we bought eachother energy drinks all the time, especially if we found sonething new. We worked weird hours and 12hr shifts so energy drinks were our lifeblood. I have found that pretty much all energy drinks are equal but Crunk is the one that gets me hyped the most. The key with ANY energy drink to make it work is to drink a TON of water before and after. Energy drinks actually dehydrate you, thus canceling out the rush from the caffeine, sugar, etc. By drinking the water, you'll get to ride that caffeine wave for a while and won't crash hard either.

I found that taking a Super B Complex vitamin works better than anything. I take one every morning and if its going to be a super hard day another one at noon.

Just taking the one in the morning gets rid of the afternoon slump I was experiencing.

I used to drink Bawls Guarana in the blue glass bottles when I worked a internet customer service job years ago.  It's very very caffinated so beware!  I don't drink energy drinks anymore because my body can't handle all the caffine.  But yes this will keep you awake..

I like the rootbeer bawls. We used to drink that at work. It led to some funny situations. "Jeff, I got your bawls in my purse."

I have never drank an energy drink.  Years ago I did read the ingredients.  I think it was a Red Bull.  IT was high in vitamin B's which are used to metabolize  carbohydrates into energy.  Also high in caffiene.  They high in caffiene to bump up the engery to keep going.  The long term problem with caffiene is that it is a dialator.  The blood vessels are kept dialated all the time if people drink hyge amounts of caffiene.  The blood vessels loose their elasticity and don't spring back to normal size.  The vessels loose their strength and cause strokes by broken blood vessels in the brain.  Long term damage!

If I do an energy drink it is half of a 5 hour energy. I have found that the Herbalife tea works really well for me too. I try to avoid caffeine but with waking up at 4 am every morning I find by about 1pm I am ready for go to sleep.
