Location: mi | It's time for a new 2015 truck. I have been to the dealers and drive both and have narrowed it down to a Ford F250 diesel or a Chevy 2500 diesel. I know what I like better on each as far as comfort and looks and options. Just looking for opinions on the motor and trans now. Any info would be great. |

(@Vickie) I prefer GMC (or Chevy) over Ford. I think Ford's newest engine is a good one, but the Allison tranny in GM trucks is the best available. And Fords feel like you're driving a log wagon. The ride and steering is better in GM. |

Location: Pa | A dodge cummins will absolutely be the best choice. My fiancΓ© has a dodge 2500 and his truck does much better in every aspect than a Ford or Chevy. Better towing, longer lasting motor by far. I guarantee if you do the research a dodge is the best choice. |

The Cummins is a great engine, but Dodge interiors suck eggs. Priorities, I guess. ;-) |

Just what I was going to say, GMC and Chevy are the same mechanically...GMC has a few comfort/interior upgrades that Chevy doesn't have.
Personally, like others have said, I would look at a new Dodge diesel as well. The Cummins is a GREAT engine, and they have some really nice rebate/cash back values right now. The interiors on Dodges do lack over all, but Dodge is still my preference over other brands. Pulling power, ability and reliability outweigh comfort for me any day.
If you are stuck between a Chevy or a Ford, I'd go with the Ford diesel. The 6.7 Powerstroke is really proving itself to be a pretty decent engine, but I have no personal experience with it, just what I've seen and heard. |

Funny you say that as I jus tent and drove them yesterday and the Ford was quieter and rode better then the Chevy. Which was not what I was expecting at all. |

| Chevy all the way. My parents just bought a 2015 Chevy and I have an 2004. I have had their truck pull my heavy trailer and it pulls like a dream. Looks great, super comfortable, and a very well made truck. The only other truck I would buy besides a Chevy would be Dodge but Chevy will always be my number 1 choice for overall mechanical, power, and durability. Good luck! |

| From someone who's owned, ford,Chevy and dodge, sold Ford. I love an f250. But mostly because they know have the snacking towing packages on top of the best truck. But then I look for longevity. My brothers dodge non stop breaks down, friends Chevy is good. But doesn't have the gadgets I like. Like the a adjustable talked breaks, that you can save to remember your trailers individually. Or the space. Holy crap a crew can is massive and makes awesome crash pads if needed |

 Can You Hear Me Now?
Location: When you hit the middle of nowhere .. Keep driving | GMC's to me drive rough, or at least the one's I've been in... I have a Dodge and it's not bad, but to me it's not my fav (and we are already having wiring problems). I wanted a Ford but since it was Hubby's he got to pick in the end ... and he bought while I was out of town. The next one will be Ford, my brothers have them and drive the sh!t out of them.

| My 2003 Dodge has 200,000 miles on it pulling a trailer all over. I would like to have a new truck, but the one I have may be better than a 2015 Ford or Chevy. So you can see I am a DODGE man.
