Meet Lily!   My mother in law got her for me on Sunday.  She has a friend that raises them and she had a red female picked out for me, but sadly the puppy didn't make it. Her friend took this one in on a trade for one of her males.  They say she is 10-12 weeks old, but I'm not sure I'm buying it.  She's not papered (not an issue to me since she will be spayed as soon as she's old enough), so I don't have any solid proof.  Anyone here have any guesses?  She's a mini.  Maybe she's younger than that or a runt??    They said she was due for her second round of shots (and she needs to be wormed, IMO), but I just can't believe that she's that old! Just curious for age guesses!

Thanks!!  What a cutie you have as well!!  They told me that she wouldn't get big at all.  My other I think is a cross between a mini/standard (if that's possible??).  She was 17 lbs at her heaviest and I think she's around 14 lbs right now with a few more we need to shave off!

Β Awwwww she's precious. Β I had a mini weenie....she was my baby. Β I want another so badly. Β She looks maybe a little younger than 10 weeks but they are small. Kind of depends on the mother and father and how "built" they are. Here's mine...I lost her to a coyote attack last year. :(

I love my mini.  Polly is into everything.  She is the only small dog my husband has liked.

Aww she is adorable! She may very well be that old if a mini. Some are tiny.

Mine is more the size of your other one. And...Sophie looks a lot like you other weenie!

(great...now I want another one too!)

They are such cool dogs.  I'm loving seeing everyone's pooch pics!  Mine is a mix, and definitely isn't a mini, but she's the best!  I got her at the pound and i'm pretty crazy about her!

I love seeing everyone's!!!!
I never once in my life thought I would want a little dog, but when I got my black and tan (Emma) three and a half years ago she had me wrapped around her finger from day one.  They kill me with their determination and persistence on getting what they want.
I wanted a second one to be "my" dog since Emma prefers my husband over me (except when I have food).... but I woke up around 4:30 this morning and couldn't find Lily in bed.  I patted around where my husband sleeps and Emma was snuggled up to him and Lily was up right in between them....... there goes my hopes of having one for myself!!

I can't stand the cutness!!!  She could very well be 12 weeks and just be a tiny one. Either way it sounds like she is healthy and HAPPY, especially to be under the covers where they all love.  I have two standards and one is 17lbs and the other is probably 19-20lbs.  I have had many breeds of dogs in my life but I will forever have Dachsies!  BTW, they are like potato chips you can't have just one!
I love, love, love seeing everyone's babies.  They are born clowns.

I always thought they were ugly but we got one about 8 years ago and ended up with 3! I'm dying to get 1 or 2 but apartment living doesn't sound like fun with 2 dogs. :/

mine was 3.5 lbs at 8 weeks. She was definitely the runt of the litter. She's about a 10 lb adult. Princess Lucy. Not just Lucy... It's PRINCESS Lucy ;)
