| I have some pretty awsome before and after pictures of a mare on purina active senior, forco, and free choice quality brome hay. Is anyone willing to post them for me because when I do it it's so small you can barely see it? The before was taken tat the very end of December and the after April 2nd....her neck looks super short in the photo after but I assure you it was just awkward

Ok, dumb question for you. If she's only 4 why are you feeding senior feed?
Crude Protein MIN 14 %Lysine MIN 0.9%Crude Fat MIN 10%Crude Fiber MAX 18%Calcium (Ca) MIN 0.95%Calcium (Ca) MAX 1.45%Phosphorus (P) MIN 0.60%Copper (Cu) MIN 80 PPMSelenium (Se) MIN 0.60 PPMZinc (Zn) MIN 280 PPMVitamin A MIN 3000 IU/LBVitamin E MIN 125 IU/LBMagnesium (Mg) MIN 0.25 PPMMethionine MIN 0.25%Threonine MIN 0.4%Starch MAX 9%Sugars MAX 7.00%Vitamin D3 MIN 800 IU/LB
This mare came with lots of muscle waisting and you can't tell but was rather ribby. She is 4 so still is growing is some way most likely so I wanted something with a little higher protein. I also like the protein makeup of this feed lysine lacks in many feeds and is so important to performance horses you can have a lot of protein in feed but if it's not quality then it's not doing much. I needed something high is calories but controlled in starches and sugar this mare is hot enough I do not need jet fuel as she is only in training not competing at this point in time. That is were the 10% fat comes in. I feed via nutrient label not what the name of the feed is. This is not like purinas traditional senior feed your horse must be able to digest forage on there own and it's much much higher in calories as it's a concentrate. I hope I answered your question.. Also wanted to add I liked it had added magnesium

you can feed A good quality sr feed to any age , it is highly digestable and easy on their stomach. |

Great pics :) What is the time frame between the two?
Love Forco. I am kind of feed shopping at the moment...would you mind telling how much the Equine Senior Active is in your area? My feed store doesn't stock it, but they said they could order it. |

| The before photo was at the end of December but I didn't bring her home till January 7th.the after photo is April 2nd. She has been on forco for a little over a month now due she was having loose stool while being ridden and wasn't blooming very fast. I have used forco in the past and Everytime I stop using it I end up using it again. I could see after 2 weeks she started to bloom and obviously now she just exploded no more loose stool either. Equine senior in my area is 19.50 a bag I really like it. Lots of beet pulp
