Location: Somewhere between S@% stirrer and Saint | Who would be interested in having an affordable technology to protect their families from Porn, escorts, offensive adult content?
The adult websites and porno business are a multi billions of dollars a year industry. Yet there is very little help in preventing families from being protected.
There are soft wares and apps that block some adult content, but lack in other areas to help protect families from the destroying harms of pornography, ect.
Help stop/prevent young boys and girls before they get addicted to porn. Help stop/prevent access for husbands/wives from viewing porn and other adult sites that would destroy a marriage.
soft ware and phone apps to safe guard families. A deluxe version of such software and apps for smart phone
Block adult sites Block porn Block escort sites Take a picture of the site trying to be visited Take a picture of the searched topic Warning to the person searching Take a picture of the person searching Send an email to a concerned person Send a text to a concerned person Password to prevent unistall apps and software Notification if other browers are being used No trace app, so the app doesn't show up on phone Blocks forbidden website categories Ect.............
Do you feel it helpful that other family members are notified of viewing habits on the smart phones or computers?

| I teach high school. If they can't get it on their device, they will find it with one of their friends'. Only way to totally protect your kids is to lock them away which we know is not possible. Educating your children and being open to discussing these topics is the best cure. As for adults to prevent destroying their marriage? They are ADULTS so you shouldn't Need to do that. They are adults. If you need to purchase a product to keep your spouse faithful then you shouldn't be married. |

So you're thinking of entering the porn industry? I hear there's alot of people "entering" in that industry.
Lmbo ok I'm sorry that was inappropriate. I'm of no help, but I couldn't stop myself |

While I agree with you, I also know this would be a huge seller especially to first time parents. |

| I love your entrepreneurship but I cant believe you would post an idea on the interwebs for all to see.
Im currently contacting and interviewing custom coders for a live sports related website. its kind of scary as I know nothing about designing and coding but I do know a guy that started a car auction type site and sold it for 1mil+ after a year so my hopes are high. |

These are very high dollar softwares and apps so the regular guy can't jump in to quick. |

Not that it will be an economical flop, but I don't really think it'll do much good. Kids always find a way.
Just because something is useless though, doesn't stop people from spending money on it. Content-filtering software is the snake oil of the Internet. Lol

I'm also going to plant cactus under every window in the house lol just kidding. |

| This actually makes me laugh. There are already several software packages out there that do exactly as this person is suggesting - for all types of endpoints (laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc.). Not to mention that a good firewall will do the same. The problem with any of them is as follows: The software is only as good as the monkeys in a room entering the URLs and there is no conceivable way to keep up with them all. It's like malware - we identify over 200,000 new pieces of malicious code every single day just at our company and we still don't even touch the surface - identifying applications or websites of this nature follows the same philosophy. You can also look at this from the concept of simple text messages - there are softwares to allow you to watch someone's texts .... but by the time you are all set to watch them, they've downloaded another new software giving them a fake number and off the go. SOFTWARE DOES NOT CHANGE A PERSON'S BEHAVIOR OR CHANGE STUPIDITY. One also has to remember that as sad as it may sound, porn finances the IT industry and helped build it. They spend millions in developing their technology and websites thus making it difficult for the preventative products to keep up. I personally wouldn't be jumping on to any new technology like this. If I thought I had a personal problem and needed to protect some, I would invest in one of the existing companies that do it - after all, it's only going to take one time to "bust the kid" or "bust the spouse" you're after and the relationship goes down hill from there.

I appreciate your response. However there are apps and programs out there that that claim to be complete but have holes and I intend to plug them. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | No matter how good you think your parental controls and pass codes are, the little turds will find a way around them. Technology can help protect your kids from technology, but you still gotta stay on your toes and parent. On the bright side, I think that a lot of the time, correcting a mistake can be more valuable than preventing the mistake from happening. We'll see if that proves out because I caught my 10 year old watching porn yesterday even tho I had his internet browser turned off AND adult content filtered out. **** just got real around here. |

That allow you to set speaker volumes, vehicles max speed, and driveable times. You set one key as the master, the other as the 'limited key' .. all fords have it. Always thought that was awesome for parents, all teenagers should have limited speed on their cars!
