I think the point would be to have people that seem to have a passion for horses be able to get together and have a good time enjoying that passion. And making new friends in the process. Don't know if we will be able to attend but I think it's a great idea. And I appreciate the work she's put in on trying to make it happen. |

Thank you CM! =)
Yes the point is to meet the people we share so much about our horses and our lives with, to make new friends and memories. We can haul all over the country for a barrel race, but we cant haul 6-8 hours (maybe a little more for some who want to go) to spend our time in the company of friends in Gods country? Psh.
I'm determined to do this. Lol even if 5 BBs are the only people who show up. My brother and I are going for sure, and possible two other groups of people from my area. =) Arkansas looks beautiful so I can't wait! I absolutely love meeting people from this site, and I've met a few! |

Also. Did a poll in one of the other posts. About 18 in texas alone are wanting to do it, then between about 17 other states the largest area of people seemed to have a central location of arkansas. If I can make this one a success I would like to do a couple BHW trail rides around the country so we can all participate. I myself am willing to haul all over the country because it's on my bucket list to go trail riding in every state I can on my horse. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | She's doing this so maybe some of the singles can meet up. Its a neat ideal for the young ones, I'm not young and not single, but sounds fun if it all falls into place. But I was just wondering, what are you planning on doing to make money for Donation's to a group? |

Going to round the shirts up to the next even 5 dollar amount pending how much they cost. Going to get with the ranch and ask about a dinner and breakfast idea too. But probably just set up a donation jar =) I hate 'requiring' donations. People can donate how much they want and can afford. |

It's going to be about a 7.5 hour trip for me. But thats why I invited a bunch of local peeps so we can cut gas costs by splitting it. |

| I think you should do a barrel race instead... BHW barrel race, members only, run by your screen name, get sponsors from advertisers on this site and see if BHW will also advertise and allow it to be run under their name, you can still do it as a benefit. I would drive a good ways to do that |

I would drive a good ways to do that that honestly would just be far too time and money consuming. Plus, I don't barrel race yet. :P I just have a prospect coming along. This is something everyone can do. I mean it would be fun... but I'm having a hard time getting people to form together on a trail ride. I highly doubt a barrel race would be easier, regardless of the fact this is a BR forum.
