I am currently riding a horse for my cousin. The horse is about 100lbs under weight. I noticed that one of her hip bones is higher than the other??? She is not lame on it nor it is sore. However, she does tend to loose her hind in in turns when working her so i am wondering if this may be a cause? I did some research and i seen where is may mean the SI bone? Please help!

I'd try having a chiropractor come out and adjust him, one of my horses had a hip out and it looked higher then the other. If they're out, it can be painful and they will move differently to keep it from hurting, which could be what you noticed.

Are you sure the bones are at different heights or could it be muscle wasting giving the illusion that it's different. If it's muscle and she's loosing her hind end in turns, it could very well be EPM, could explain why she might be under weight too. Any pics?
