Location: Missouri | ...and no one cares! lol! So, can I tell you about it? I posted on here a while ago about a stallion opportunity... some said yes, some not so much. And, I wasn't sure what to do. Took my mare to vet today to have routine stuff done. He checked her and she had a 38mm follicle, so he sent us to the farm! Off we went to Oklahoma, me scared to death the whole way! We arrived at North Farms and all my fears immediately vanished! I got to see the stud and loved him even more than the photos. Also discovered that they owned both Roll the Cash and Brisco County Jr. What an amazing experience! I felt like a little kid. My eyes were bugging out of my head, I'm sure! lol! Can't wait until next year!!! Actually, who am I kidding?! I can't wait to go pick her up so I can drool over pretty horses again! |

Location: Bandera, TX | Glad to read about your excitement. I had posted on here a few years ago about a breeding that I was excited about. I got lots of "Boos" from the crowd here. Well, I was pleased with the breeding. He ran 22 times his first year out and won 17K. I ran him fewer times last year (He won a small derby his first runs back after his freshman break), I hauled him to some tuff tour rodeo's. Had I been in shape and not hindering him he would have placed at two of those. Darn my tipped barrels! I turned him out for a year break and can't wait till Sept. After my sons wedding I plan on getting him back in shape and more importantly, myself. God has blessed me and my husband with a nice horse and we want to do right by the horse. You look forward to your foal and just plan on doing the best you can by the gift your given! |

Thank you so much for your encouragment! So good to hear your story! Congratulations! This will be here third foal. We lost the first. The second, by Mr Jess Charger, is a yearling and I'm in love with her! I didn't plan to breed again, but my FIL had a breeding that he wasn't using, so that's how this came about.
The stud must look bigger in the photo. He is 15.2hh. Of course, he is on his tip-toes b/c our trailer pulled in his drive! lol!
Here is a pic of my mare (when she was preggers last time.)

Thank you! And, no! Can you believe it?! It was torture! lol! We were in a big hurry and so was Patricia. So, it was really drop and run! But, I did see the pali halter stud...BEAUTIFUL! And, Reb Hot Fame was in Roll the Cash's stall acting crazy b/c everyone knew a new girl was in town! He looks just like his photos, only maybe even thicker! lol! (I was *this close* to changing my mind, but had to remember $$$. Dang it! ) I think the web page is www.northfarmsllc.net . But, seems like the Facebook page is more current. |

Yes, she sold him and said she still misses him :( Roll the Cash is buried there and had a nice memorial stone. |
