| My friend has convinced me to try Iconoclast boots. I have them ordered, just not here yet. Anyway does anyone not care for them? I haven't heard anything bad about them, so I was just curious! |

Location: Red Raiderland | I had a couple pair when they first came out and I liked them but I hated the amount of velcro. My Classic Equines work just as well and are much less fussy to put on. Did I mention I hated the velcro? Oh and at the time they came in white or black, maybe pink but I like lots of different colors in CE's. |

Location: Texas | I love mine. I bought the original model and it had some kinks.. but they changed manufacturers a few years ago and I have really liked them since then. My only complaint is they only come in two colors.. but I love white so I have a full set of white ones and black front ones for Bunny. |

I always thought the white iconoclast boots look so sharp!
But I gotta ask...how do you keep them clean?! |

Location: Texas | I like them for my one horse, but not for my other horse. My "other" horse has prominant ergots on the backs of his fetlocks. He wore holes in the backs of the boots after only a couple of runs in them. My "one" horse doesn't have prominant ergots and they work fine for him. I wouldn't say I like them signficantly better than the Classic Equines. But I do like the double suspensory support theory behind them. |

| I don't think ANY boots "support" a leg, despite the claims some of them make. I use boots on the fronts for protection against blows, and only on hind legs if a horse really sits deep and "burns" their fetlocks. I don't like Iconoclast because I feel they are too bulky, and they get a lot of dirt in them in my experience. |

I clean them for certain races, but other than that they get kinda dirty :( |

Location: IL | I got Iconoclasts for Christmas as my one mare has an old suspensory injury. I've used polos for years and I could never find a boot that I really liked. They all seemed to not fit the way I wanted. I LOVE my Iconoclasts! I still use polos in the back cause I like the pretty colors (haha!) but both my mares wear Iconoclasts on the fronts. They fit really well and my mare with the old suspensory injury seems more confident in her steps when she has them on. I don't ever have dirt in them and I don't feel that they are bulky at all. All the super sticky velcro took getting used to but I now have a system for putting them on and taking them off that makes the velcro easier to manage! lol |

| Iconoclasts dye really well with rite dye, I did a set in turquoise and they turned out amazing
I did a set in Dylon dye, not as impressed, but still look great.
I find they fit better then classic equine
One thing to watch is their sizes are small, my medium pro choice horses take a size large in iconoclast |

Location: Texas | I do not like them. They are very "supportive" I guess, but they feel restrictive to me. And way too much Velcro |

| You really just have to try try them to know if your gonna like them. For me, I absolutely LOVE iconoclasts. Yes, the velcro is extremely sticky but isn't that a good problem?! I have never had dirt get in between when using these boots where it always happens with other brands. And, some say the iconoclasts are bulky but I disagree. I think they would be even more popular if only the company would make them in color, but I give them an A+ |

I tend to agree with you boots are actually more of preventive in my book. |

| I had them for my 14.2 hand mare that has short pasturns and they were to restricting for her... Just to much material around her pasturn and behind the fetlock joint since she has such short pasturns. My other horses they would work fine on, but her, no... |

to the OP - I love mine. They do a better job when compared to the CE legacy and the SMB III boots, in my opinion, of keeping the dirt out without over heating the leg.
To keep my white sets clean, before I used them the first time ... I scotch gaurded the H3LL out of them. Let them dry, and did it again. Now, I just hose 'em quick, hang to dry and they are super clean after a run. |

Do you re-apply scotch guard on them every so often? I scotch guarded an older pair of whites I had and it didn't seem to make much of a difference after the first wash. I usually let them set in oxyclean a few hours then hose off.. |

They are the only boots I've used that keeps dirt out,CE and prof choice all seem to get dirt in them.
They aren't bulky on my horses legs at all.

I agree MeepMeep. Look at where there at when you go to take them off. They are resting on the bell boots probably an inch or two below the bottome of the fetlock. Is that support? No! I haven't seen a boot that offers support. |
