Here is an article 5 things you should know about Ben Carson please take the time to get to know him and i believe you will suport him too. Also he has a book "One Nation" in which he describes what we can all do to save America's future. http://www.npr.org/blogs/itsallpolitics/2015/05/03/403599009/5-thin... |

Location: Arkansas | If we as voters are divided, then another democrat with the same ideals will become our next president, but if we unite behind 1 man we have a chance of taking our country back. I want my country back and i believe you do too, so let's all unite behind Dr. Ben Carson and take it back before it's too late! |

He has some books out that tell alot about his upbringing. One I am reading right now is called "Gifted Hands". He is not perfect, and he is the first to admit it. But he is representative of what America is all about. I do wish he had some military experience though. |

Or some type of politcal experience... I feel like he's a lamb walking into a lions den. Knowledge is power, and experience speaks volumns. But then, I don't know much about this guy. |

I dont mind him not having political experience...in fact I prefer that he doesn't. He can hire people with the expereince to navigate the in's and out's of the office...most of them do anyway. |

Location: Texas | This is awesome news!! There is still hope for our country! Dr. Ben Carson is a very "real" person, who not only has common sense, but is extremely intelligent. I also do not mind a bit, that he hasn't been corrupt from a career of being a politician. He wrote a book called, "Gifted Hands", and I highly suggest everyone read this book before he is (hopefully) elected - you'll fall in love with him and gain a lot of respect for him. He has my vote 100%! He should have been the first black president.
ETA: This is a neat, non political interview with Dr. Carson. http://Teen" target="_blank" title="http://youtu.be/Xd0jQGSaaN8">http://Teen">http://youtu.be/Xd0jQGSaaN8">http://Teen Interviews Dr. Ben Carson - You Have a Brain: http://youtu.be/Xd0jQGSaaN8

Thanks for sharing, OP! I've read about him previously and liked him from what I've read. Although I do have to agree with americanpride08, I wish he had military experience also. |

Location: Arkansas | Most running don't have military experience, that's when you surround yourself with experienced men like Gen. Petraeus and other great men like him who have "been there and done that" but not with men like Senator John McCain who even though he went thru alot in the military he thinks too much like a liberal, i believe they call him a RINO for good reason. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | He's not my first choice, but I really like the man. We could do a lot worse, for sure. I don't mind his lack of military experience. I don't see a strong correlation between military experience and being a good president. I don't think his not having experience as a politician is a liability, necessarily. He's stumbled a time or two in interviews, but one thing is that he's not a corrupt, pathologic liar. I think he means what he says. There are quite a few solid candidates this time. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen so many impressive people in the field. |

I think his stumble on Homosexuality was a wake up call for him. He played into the media Gotcha game and paid for it. He will be slower and more careful to answer going forward I'm sure. I do think he a genuinely good person...much like Romney. |

| Brilliant Man a true example of the American dream. As far as Chief Executive and Commander in Chief not ready for prime time IMO. But hey it is going to be a horse race so let them all give it their best shot. My only hope is that people reread Article II of the Constitution and pick someone who fit's the job. Not just on their personality, or their sex, or the color of their skin. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | I'll say one thing. If Dr Carson ever won the GOP nomination, the Democrats would become apoplectic. The NAACP and Al Sharpton would go crazy with the "Uncle Tom" attacks. |

The left wing press already has. You can always tell who scares them the most. Ted Crus is #1 on their hit parade but there has been some pretty cutting articles on Carson also. So far the REP's are running 2 Latinos,1 women and a Afro.American DR. all we need is Bobby J. to get in and the left wing press will loss their minds LOL. |
