  Shipwrecked and Flat Out Zapped

Location: DUMPING CATS AND PIGS IN TEXAS :) | and I've been waiting a century for her to pop a foal out. She was pasture bred so we have no idea when she is due. She has had a bag for, at least, 4 months now.....
So, I go out there in the dark before work this morning and see her laying flat on her side and I got giddy excited! Finally!!Right? Wrong.....lol, she popped up like Molly Shannon doing Superstar and gave me a big, old "SIKE!!"

Someone on FB posted that there is only one month left of breeding season... I'm over here like WHAT, WAIT FOR ME!!!!! I'm going to try to hit my back on foal heat this weekend. |

Yeah I missed the foal heat on my FTS mare...so now I'm panicing trying to get her short cycled. I was leaving another mare alone for a bit waiting to be sure we could collect all the shipment requests, and now it is almost June!! Breeding is for the birds...I'm just gonna go back to all old broke horses! |

I'm hoping I don't miss mine. It'll be one week Thurs that she had him. Getting her checked to see where she is on her cycle Thurs morning. You are right... it's for the birds. We are insane. |
