Does anyone use these for their horses?

One of my geldings is SUPER sensitive to bug bites and they're the one thing that really upsets him. Because of this, I'm taking every precaution I can to keep bugs OFF him. I have yet to see fly boots with good reviews so these interested me but my main concern is that he might go to itch his leg or get bored and start mouthing it and get some of the chemical in his eyes or mouth. I'm not sure if that's a real concern or if I'm just being paranoid but any input is appreciated.

I have used this brand, but had problems with them getting torn off. There is another brand, and I can't think of the name but it comes in a green box and they velcro on. Had much better luck with these, in fact just put a set of them on my gelding after I rode today. If I think of the name I'll post, but you might can look on some other sites, might try Tesky's I think they carry them.
