Location: DUMPING CATS AND PIGS IN TEXAS :) | with a flash light, IPad and a cat. No power. I'm pretty sure she has 26 or so cats. There is no humor here, yet I find it funny that she only has one cat with her in the closet. Remind me when this all blows over to have Mel take a picture of the cat that was worth saving so I can laugh. Until then, say a few prayers for my buddy and her cat. |

Anyone who has ever had to give a cat a bath knows that said cat will never, ever again step one paw in a bathtub without clawing your eyeballs out. Stay safe, getting bad here now.

You too. A really bad storm is starting to settle down here. I guess it's heading south. The lightning was horrible. Grab your cat lol. |

Location: Vinton, La. | LOL! We good. Got pretty scary for a little while. My husband got called back out to work before the storm hit, so Cujo the one very special cat who gets to stay in the house, and I are here by ourselves. (Other 24 cats are in their own house next door, porch, and barn) Lightning hit something close. Power went out, then wind, hail and very very heavy rain started. The one not so brave cat weighs 24 pounds and he beat me to the closet. As soon as rain let up a little, I went and checked on horses and other house. All look ok. Still no power but have hurricane candies, lanterns, and lots of flashlights and Dr. Peppers on ice. We were without power after Hurricane Rita for 3 weeks, so I stay prepared. Thank you Jennifer and crew for the thoughts. Our buddies in Ok. and Tx. have it a lot worse. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone having to deal with this rain and flooding. |

No room for cats, I have two kids and a scared dog that is too big to be scared in my bed already. Sounds like the worst has passed, hoping for sunshine for at least a week or so. |

At 5am I said screw it and got up. Everything looked ok this morning. Im so ready for this crap to be gone! |

Location: NE Texas | Hope everyone survived this stormy weekend without too much damage. We had trees go down Saturday night and tear down all of our wires. We were without power for about 7 hours, but luckily the Ft. Smith finals were going and we bided our time watching the webcast. This has been one crazy spring, and while i'm thankful for the rain we've received and that our lakes our filled, i'm sure praying to get a little break from the rain and storms.
Thoughts and prayers to those in TX, OK, and LA who have experienced severe damage from wind, hail, and flooding! |

Totally off topic, but we had a cat named Cujo too!! I named him that because he was such a mean ornery little kitten. Lived to be 17 years old and was a very cool cat. |
