Location: on my horse | I have what apparently is an extremely picky eater, she turns her nose up, and I mean absolutely will not touch (tries to steal food from dogs) taste of the wild, blue buffalo, diamond naturals, the type of science diet I tried, and there's one more I'm forgetting.
She's strictly indoor and is making the change from kitten chow to adult cat food. I've given each type of cat food listed a good try (after mixing with kitten chow for a few days) and she'll nibble at it for a couple days then totally quit and go for the dog food or anything else she thinks is edible.
The only cat food she's shown any interest in is the outdoor cat's el cheapo purina and I would like to feed her something better.
her teeth are good she's in good physical health, any suggestions or should I just give up lol.

| I feed mine Friskies in the purple bag. They really like Fancy Feast dry food but it is a little higher.

Location: on my horse | This is the only indoor kitty I've ever had and I wanted to spoil her and give her expensive kitty food but she's apparently not a fan haha. Until her I've always fed the cheaper stuff too. |

Location: Adopt a homeless pet - www.petfinder.com! | They do like the junk food better sometimes. I keep a cheap dry food for the barn cats and my house cats are always wanting to get into it. They eat Taste of the Wild and do like it. |

Location: Missouri | Have you tried Iams yet? They make an indoor formula to help with hair balls and weight. Our indoor cat is a little fatty and loves it. And he looks a little less like a bowling ball now. |

The Tractor Supply Brand (4Health) makes cat food that is no wheat/no corn/no soy. It's not super expensive and is probably a little better than the "junk" foods. They have completely grain free versions too. |

Location: MD | I don't blame her for not eating blue buffalo. I couldn't even get the raccoon to eat it.... Let alone a cat.
Have you tried the Purina Pro Plan? Or have you tried dressing any of that kind of food with HealthyCoat or something similar? |

Cats are obligate carnivores, so they need higher protein than what most dog foods are. In case you didn't know. |

My inside cat gets Purina Cat Chow, had one that was 21 when she died.. And the outside cats get whatever my hubby brings home for them, sometimes it the 9 Lives dry cat food. |

Location: Freestone TX | I foster for a rescue organization so have had many indoor cats pass through. They want us to feed the higher end cat foods. But I had one kitty that I spent a fortune buying different brands and she flat out decided she'd starve to death before she'd touch any of it. I finally found she'd eat Purina Cat Chow. I was told if you have to feed a lesser quality food, the Cat Chow is the best choice as it doesn't have red dye in it. I'd say if yours eats the Purina Cat Chow, just go with it. |
