I liked the one I went to a lot. She's super easy to follow, her drills are great and she keeps it simple. Out of all the clinics I've been to, I learned the most from hers.

I went years ago when she first started hosting clinics, she's prob gotten better at them. She has very unique yet simple approach to her techniques. She likes to see horses really lift and be fluid in their shoulders. Lot of rollbacks and working on an inside rein. Teaching a horse to reach and cross over. For snappyness! Really helps on one that is heavy on the forehand. I still use her exercises to this day.

I've been to two clinics and learned from both. She doesn't honey coat it. At the first clinic she told the people the horse their daughter was riding wasn't broke well enough to do anything on-Kim had gotten on the horse and couldn't get it to do much of anything. At the second clinic someone asked what Kim thought of their horse. He was a pretty color, stocking legs but poor conformation. Kim pointed out the conformation flaws immediately-owner had her mouth open in shock. I'd go to another.

If I ask someone their opinion, I'd want an honest answer. I would rather people be straight forward with me  and have them tell me exactly what I asked for (their opinion) not some sugar coated, beat around the bush answer. Ed Wright was way more harsh than I've ever seen Kim be at the 2 clinics I've been to. But I like her - I like her style, she's easy to ride behind and she'll be honest with you.

That's right, it's at the Diamond T instead of Hopper's this year. Kim puts on a great clinic and I think you will learn a lot. Dave Stinson will be helping with the Horsemanship part- that's a bonus. If I don't take my horse, I'll go and audit. I learned quite a bit from one of Kim's clinics a few years back. Look me up- I'll be the totally uncool-looking old lady on a big grey horse. I know all the good eating places around here, lol!
