We went two years when my son was one of the Chairmen. Of course, we got the "royal" treatment! It is an awesome rodeo and produced with 2000 VOLUNTEERS........

My son and family are there now. If they had asked, I sure would have tagged along. Lol We have been a few times and really enjoyed it. It is awesome how the whole town is involved in one way or another. Cheyenne, Salinas and Pendleton are my favorites that everyone should go to at least once.

Have had a great two days. We caught a ride from the hotel with contestants so we did not have to worry about parking every day. My daughter got to visit with Mary Walker for a bit. She was super friendly and nice enough to let us have a photo op.

She took time out after her run also. She has gained a fan in me for sure.

Granddaughters got home today with bad sunburn. Seats were not in covered area. They know better than to not use sun screen.
But they had a really good time.

We've been to both Cheyenne and Pendleton - I agree with you. Really cool rodeos and towns. They were both better experiences than the NFR in my opinion. Salinas is on my list too. Was planning another Cheyenne trip next summer but maybe we'll go there instead!
