| Just a shout out to our own HERBIE on this site for getting me and convincing me to start the Curost product for my horse! He has been on allergy meds since a yearling, now 11. Finished barrel horse that has to have his hay wetted down, runs on Ventipulman, etc. Usually runs out of air just before finish line and lands in 2D while making a 1D run ever trip. I cried a little tear when I spent 115.00 for a 30 day supply of the total support for my horse ( Had lung infection as a baby and has scar tissue and allergic to dust of all things). I started the product 4 days ago and first day he coughed way more than normal ( SHe later explained that it was the Curost getting flem and inflammation out) and SInce day 2 ABSOLUTELY NOT ONE COUGH. Not to mention he feels TOOOOO GOOOD! LOL Went to catch him and he actually broke and ran from me prancing all around IN A DUST CLOUD taking deep huge breaths! LOL I cannot wait to run him this weekend, he is a Solid give 10000% every time type of horse that just would peeter out last 40 foot or so of a run cause thats all the air he had. I have NO DOUBT that he will have all the air he needs!!! Thanks Herbie and Dr. Schell! |

Location: The barn...where else? SW Missouri | I have to give a shout out to Herbie and kudos to Cur-Ost as well. My mare is looking and feeling better than ever. She was treated for epm last year and recovered well. I caught it quick and treated with Origin. She was looking good this spring, but with all the rain we got and me riding her, she started losing her topline again. I tested her blood with Pathogenes and it came back good. So in seeing Herbies posts about Cur-Ost I talked to her about it and what it did for for her horse. I too swallowed hard when I ordered it because of the price, but in 2 weeks I could see a huge difference in my mare. Her topline is already filling back in and she is more focused and just seems overall happy and relaxed. She's not a hot minded horse, but is a worrier. I'm sold on this stuff!! Just wish I could afford to take it myself. Lol. But, as most of us horse people do, we put our horses health and happiness before our own. :) |

Location: NE Texas | So happy that you took a leap of faith, Flitastic, and that you're seeing these results as well! We have visited for many monts regarding respiratory issues and how to treat them. Finally finding a solution that doesn't involve steroids, diuretics, and other medications is such a relief, not to mention we're no longer "band-aiding" our issues. These respiratory cases are tricky and at one point or another, i'm pretty sure Flitastic and I have tried them all. I think we both can honestly say we now have a program that works for our horse, thank goodness! And the icing on the cake is that this is the ONLY product you'll need. No more ulcer meds or maintenance supplements, no probiotics, no pre-biotics, no nothing.
HUGE thank you to Dr. Schell for educating me on how the immune system of a horse functions and how inflammation in the hind gut affects the inflammatory responses in our horses and for giving me the tools and knowledge to share with others! Nouvelle Research literally saved my horses life after spending thousands of dollars at vets and getting no improvement and no hope.
If anyone has a horse who is experiencing chronic issues, whether they be joint, tendon, GI, respiratory or otherwise, please do not hesitate to join the forum on www.secondvet.com and post your questions. There is something to be learned from every single case and this is a great opportunity for us to learn from each other with Dr. Schell's guidance. I can promise you won't regret it! |

Location: NE Texas | MC1993, i'm not sure about shipping to Canada, but if you call them, but I would bet they can. Sorry, I don't work for the company, so i'm not sure about any shipping restrictions. If I speak with Dr. Schell, I will be sure and ask. Or if you want to post that queston on the forum at www.secondvet.com, you could probably get an answer quickly.
Itsme......shame on you. HAHA I hope you choose to investigate a bit further and look into the program and product. Based on the issues i've seen you post regarding your daughter's mare, I really think she would benefit from the program in more ways than you even realize.
I would never wish for anyone to have to go through what I have with this particular horse, and have spent many a night crying myself to sleep thinking he'd never come back. I consulted with Dr. Schell for at least 3 weeks before I finally bit the bullet and bought my first bags. I had literally tried everything else at this point, my bank account was suffering, and my hope and expectations were very low. As a last ditch effort, I bought my first bags.....and yes, it was expensive to get started. I double dosed the two products Dr. Schell recommended for the first 14 days. In that first 14 days, my horse transformed almost daily from a horse who was in complete respiratory distress to a horse who was bright eyed and coughing. Most wouldn't be happy to have a horse that was coughing, but for mine....that was HUGE improvement. Also during this first 14 days he went from a horse who was underweight, poor hair coat, stiff and body sore, and very unhappy to a horse who was full, his hair coat was shiny, he filled out through his stomach and hind gut, he was happy, and I was given the green light to start light exercise to encourage the coughing and removal of mucous and phlegm. In 30 days I was back to riding my horse and 30 days after that I was making my first run on him. I will attach a couple pics below of the change in the first month. The first picture is March 23, the second April 24th. It's everybit as dramatic as it looks, and this is just the physical change in my horse. The respiratory, overall health and well being were way more dramatic than what these pictures show. I'm so happy to have found this company and if seeing is believing....i've seen it....and it's worth every single penny!

Remind me, was this horse at a trainers? Or did you have any feed contamination issues? I cant remember. The transformation is amazing. |

Location: NE Texas | Turnlane, the horse was out of my care, but his body condition was directly related to the respiratory situation he was experiencing and not neglect on the part of anyone. They took him to the vet twice for treatment and followed the vets recommendations to a T. Unfortunately my horse didn't respond to the treatments the vets were prescribing and the condition continued to worsen. I also took him to 2 different vets and explained what all had been done and prescribed up to that point and they couldn't give me any additional treatment options other then surgery to fix an alleged soft palate displacement issue, which would not have done anything to repair the cause of the displacement, which was the respiratory distress, the mucous and the extreme COPD/asthatic condition he had.
Here are the treatments that were done prior in the two months prior to finding the Cur-Ost: 1.) Scope followed by antibioitics, received regular Equi-Resp treatments 2.) Scope again prescribed 3 cc of Ventipulmin, 3.) Upped Ventipulmin to 5 cc, gave Prednisone injection, start on Dex for 5 days 4.) Upped Ventipulmin to 10 cc to run, 8 cc per day, give Dex starting three days out from a run 5.) Exercise scope, suggested surgery, no further treatment otions available due to severity and intolerance to previous treatments

Location: Aubrey, Texas | I haven't gotten to try it on my horse yet- long story- but I thought I would be a human guinea pig and try the Cur-Ost Ultimate because my right shoulder and elbow were getting pretty bad. I could tell an almost immediate difference in my elbow- it didn't keep me awake at night any more from the pain. My shoulder has taken a little longer to improve, but after less than three weeks it doesn't sound like Velcro tearing apart when I move it. I'm very happy with the product and will get Smoke on it ASAP! Thanks, Herbie, for introducing me to these products! I'm so glad they worked for your horse- |

So happy to hear that the product has worked well for you, cloverleaf, and given you some relief on your shoulder and elbow! I've been shocked at how quickly my horses have responded, and others have seen this as well. I'm excited for you to get your pony on the product too!
You're very welcome....I couldn't NOT share it's been such a blessing to me! Hope you are doing well and getting to ride a little bit. With the weather finally giving us a break, it's about to be prime time! :) |

Yes I am using Cur-Ost Ultimate, I think is the name. It has helped tremendously with my hip, knee and shoulder pain. It has helped with my allergies and asthma. Next week when I go to my chiropractor I will find out if it has helped with my high blood pressure. All this with just one supplement. I sent an email to them listing my ailments and they told me what to try. I am more than satisfied even though it is a bit pricey. |
