Location: NE Texas | There will be a forum discussion regarding inflammation in the horse, how it works, what happens, and the best way to intervene. This will be a great opportunity for all of us who either have or are currently dealing with chronic issues, lamenesses, or undiagnosable problems in our horses. We can learn from each other and realize the best way to go about treating these issues and preventing them going forward.
If you're dealing with kissing spine, tendon problems, GI problems, arthritis, respiratory issues, etc, there is a good chance all of these issues are tied into the body's inflammatory repsonse and immune system. I hope that you'll join in the discussion and ask any questions! |

Ugh, I missed this post yesterday! Wednesday my mare was diagnosed with KS, makes me very sad. But my vet didn't have lots of info on it. is there any way I can read what was discussed or talk to this vet on the website about it? |

I actually started a post on kissing spine on the forum at www.secondvet.com and Dr. Schell explained a bit more on the subject. I don't have a horse with KS, but see it diagnosed more and more. Creat an account on the forum and go check it out! He'll be happy to answer any questions you may have on the subject and advise treatment options. |
