Location: Never in one place long | I'm thinking about buying this 2yr filly from a kill pen.. I have no other pics to go off of.. I know it's obviously a risk and that she is very skinny but does she look decent to you? She has a long skinny neck but I've heard that's just because she's so skinny.... Please no rude comments!

 A Gopher's Worst Nightmare

Location: Southern Oregon | Poor KID...... WOW. YES super thin and wormy, maybe lice infested! ugh people! Ewe necked, which will look a touch better with weight, but will never change. Looks a little long and weak in the front pasterns....could be lack of nutrition on the weak part. Its a BIG risk. I like her shoulder and length of her back. Might be the angle but her hip looks a touch shorter then I would like to see on her body and I would like to see a touch more angle there as well. |

P.S. I thought that I was the only one that looked at kill pen horses. lol |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | You would be amazed at how pretty that neck would be after she gains. I think she is worth a chance. You would also be surprised how fast a horse can look this bad. I sent my sleek and fat show horse to be rode and he came back 2 weeks later not looking much better than this. His coat was burnt and rough and he had marks all over him and very thin. There was literally nothing to his butt and his neck was super thin. I about puked. It takes forever to get them to gain but no time at all to loose it. |

Location: Arkansas | I totally agree that with good nutrition and care you'll see the beauty hiding under all that neglect. This just makes me ill to know the babies that end up like this and never have a chance to show their worth. I say go for it. (And you know from the rescue work you do that the ones you save can pay you back in spades. . . . ) |

| Should be able to run, cannon bone is significantly shorter then the forearm.
Hocks are little higher set then I would like.
Definitely worth the gamble |

Yeah I notice once I hit abot 25 it became the opposite. That winter weight just doesn't come off very well before the next winter. I'm thinking it is a lost cause and will just enjoy the cupcakes |

| Good for you that you got her! Looks like shes going to be a good solid horse once she fills out. Make sure you post some pictures after you'd had her for a bit!
I've had horses over 20 years too and never wanted a palomino, just didn't like the color .... well my currently horse is a palomino lol! My husband calls him Golden Devil lol.
