Can you combine the two? The silver lining herbs is a daily topcoat for your feed but could you give a calming cookie if needed maybe before a run, etc if you need a little extra? Or is it too much? Thanks!

I don't have a clue what is in the silver linings but I will give you a bump.

JMHO...I wouldn't want to dose both on the same day. Why don't you just give the calming cookies before your run?

I would try a cookie or 2 by itself and see how that works.  I know THE uses an amino acid tyrosine which effects the brain and helps the horse to focus and relax, therefore I have found that my horses response better to the tyrosine rather than the magnesium which most other calming products use for their main active ingredient for calming. I give my horse 3 cookies an hour before but she is pretty hot. I personally don't see why it would be an issue to feed both. If you are feeding the silver lining during feeding times and just the cookies before you race then there shouldn't be an issue.

Silver Lining herbs worked great on my ADHD bi-polar mare (she was calmer and could process better yet still had some run), the Calming Cookies made her catatonic...and that was the old level 2 ones. I think she may have yawned at the second barrel as we took a beer and pizza break and caught up with old friends in the stands. ;-) She did however lope the prettiest pattern she ever had, too bad I was kissing and smooching and trying to hustle her at the time.
