Location: South Dakota | Mary Walker posted on FB asking for prayers for Jill and Custer...she said it didn't look good... I watched Sherry Cervi make a run, and the ground looked horrible greasy slick..., she ended up with a nt. Praying for Jill and her partner.

Location: MD | I did see where an individual posted that they had been walking behind Jill as she led Custer out back and that he was fully weight bearing and walking on it, but that is all I know. |

 Own It and Move On
Location: The edge of no where | I'm sure hoping he's ok....praying he just stung it badly. I think they pulled the video from FB last night. Ground was crap....just crap! Why that's ok, I simply don't understand. I'm really pulling for her to make it to Vegas. Looked like maybe Sherry was running Arson? Maybe not, sorrel with wide blaze - he slipped so badly that he came back on the wrong side of the 3rd.
You can watch videos here.

Pretty sure they took it down. I watched it last night and can't find it this morning. |

| Jill's horse slipped and stung his hind left hard. In the arena it looked catastrophic for a few minutes but then he started to put weight on it and once out of the arena he was walking without a limp. Hopefully he didn't tear anything up too bad. It was pretty heartbreaking to see her reaction. The ground seemed to be pretty good all week. They did add a lot of sand this year, but last night it rained heavily during the rodeo. |

Location: South Central Florida | I was watchin on Periscope and it looked bad but it was hard to see and at first I thought she was hurt too. It looked like she was limping out of the arena...but could not tell for sure if it was her. I sure hope they are both okay. |

| I watched it live on Periscope and it looked horrible!! I pray that he is going to be okay! For those that didn't see it....he went running in to his first (the left barrel) and put his butt in the ground to set that inside leg and it didn't hold, he slipped really bad but didn't go all the way down so Jill stayed on - she pulled him immediately and he walked a few steps - got about to the timer line and he wouldn't put weight on it. They got Jill off and she looked devastated. That's all I saw because they stopped videoing the live feed. Makes me sick. Sending them my prayers, Custer is her superhero!! |

| He didn't go down and she wasn't hurt. She just dropped to her knees when she saw him holding up his leg. Like I mentioned before, after a couple of minutes he was putting weight on it and later in the warm up ring he was walking without a limp, so hopefully all those prayers being said in the arena were answered. |

Location: Peach State | It was very touching to see several competitors running towards the arena when they saw him limping and her peers immediately requesting prayers. Not bad for us snarky barrel racers lol (sarcasm) |

| He did go down completely in the hindend and hung that leg bad under himself. The ground looked bad pretty much from the start and it didn't look overly wet. I only watched the videos on FB and watched Jill's video several times. Horses were slipping in almost every video on FB from the very start, you can go watch all the way from the weekend(especially third). They really needed to fix the ground. Nancy Hunter even commented on the video about fixing the ground before it got deleted. Praying that he is ok! I was really hoping for this team. |

| Looks like he's going to be ok. Here's what she posted on FB.
After the biggest scare of my life last night I'm so relieved Custer is ok and is going to get some much needed rest until he's 110% again. I love Custer more than anything in this world and could never articulate how much the prayers and concern from all the girls meant to me. The immediate comfort from the girls rushing to say a prayer with me, the hugs/help from husbands and fathers and the quick vet advice was truly an amazing act of kindness by all last night. Thank you everyone

I was watching it live and my heart kind of skipped a beat when Sherry had trouble and then when Jill fell, my heart just sank. I am praying for her and her horse. I too, wish I hadnt seen it. These rodeo horses are so darn tough. |
