I have a new horse and my saddle is tiny bit wide at the withers. I have a 5 Star and love it BUT it allows it to tip slightly forward when cinched. What saddle pads would help with this? I did shim it but couldn't get it just right with the 5 Star. CSI, CE Biofit, Saddlerite, etc.?

I use a Pro Choice Orthosport with the Classic Equine shim. I tried a CSI pad and it didn't work for me.

Charon from Caldwell just posted three great videos on the Caldwell Saddle Facebook page last night. It helped with how to figure out the right pad for a high and low withered horse.

Ce biofit. You still could shim.

I really like my The corrector pad. the shims aren't too bulky and you can place them where you need them at. If you need more thickness you can add more shims to that area.
