I just got a gelding in and he has little white what appear to be warts on his face. I believe j was always told they were called "dew warts". I've never dealt with them. How do I get rid of them? They don't bother him but they sure bother me! Lol

I always heard they were just something they can get when they're 2-6ish. Let it run its course, they'll go away and then they won't catch them again if they are ever around a horse that has them again.

You can cut one off and feed it to him. Old trick.

I've used this one for 40 years:  Put castor oil on them - for just a few days, you'll see them just fall off - and not come back!

I just leave them be and they were usually gone in about a week.

I agree, just leave them, they'll go away on their own.

Castor oil works every time..put it on at least once a day they'll fall off within a month..probably sooner..can find it at Walmart in pharmacy section either by laxatives or otc meds

All drug stores should have castor oil - it's usually located in the laxative section.

I had a 3 yr old that had them and my vet used some pinchy scissors and made them bleed. They went away.

In April I bought a yearling. She had them. Farrier said leave them alone they will go away. I did. After a month they were gone

You can also tear a few off and let them bleed and they will go away.  Gross but it works.  :
