Barrel Saddle Recommendations for a wide APHA

I have a 14.2 beefcake APHA mare that I am trying to find a saddle to fit correctly. She is build like a tank, low wide withers, and a compact body. I've had a crates flex tree reiner on her which was too long
(hit her hip
), and two different billy cooks.
(best time flex and classic show
) both of which seemed to make her sore in the shoulders and lower back. I'm looking to replace the billy book best time flex saddle and find one that fits her better. What are good, wide built barrel saddles? What do people think of treeless saddles? Not looking to spend more that $1,500

I have a horse that is a big fellow. 16-1 and thick. I have two different saddles that I ride him 2ith. One is the wide gullet CJ tree Billy Cook. They are abput $1100. The other is a Josey Ultimate regular tree. That one was about $2200. The Billy Cook was bpugt for him and the Josey was reΓ lly bought for a shorter really thick horse. Both horses have good withers. Both are really thick.

I have a billy cook on my BIG mare, 16 hands 1300#. And it fits her fairly well. She has nice withers though, so that may change it a bit.

The only saddle that fit my wide built like a barrel mare was a Martin crowns 11 gullet with a flat bar.
Out of your price range though, and I tried them all.
The second best was the Lisa Lockhart extra wide
(now may be the wide but some people say they are not the same
) it felt good on her, but it caused her to buck.
Third best was a double j pozzi wide but it caused muscle atrophy in 2 months.

I have 2 wide Quarter horses. Both of them ride in a Lisa Lockhart Circle Y Flex2 WIDE tree saddle. Love it.
Unfortunately, one of them is only 4 years old and I suspect he is going to grow out of it.......

the only ones that fit my mare was Double J LM Special WIDE FIT...and a Caldwell Pro Max...maxed out. the 'cheaper ready made saddles seem to have more narrow bars you need to have one custom made....start saving your $$$
