Veteran Posts: 176 Location: Arizona	That's what I was wondering I saw he was a 13 all time leading sire of barrel horses of course that's been a few years ago. I know they aren't easy to find probably since he died. I was wondering if anyone had any personal experience with them. Thanks for any and all info on him.

Elite Veteran Posts: 941 Location: Kansas	Title Contender had a 96 speed index. He was by First Down Dash out of a Special Effort mare. He sired several very successful barrel horses including a $100,000. slot winner. We had 3 foals by him and kept two as broodmares in our breeding program. We sold one very athletic gelding. He has ended up as a local family horse. They love him but he doesn't have any performance record. Title Contender died very young. I would certainly consider a horse with him in their pedigree. As someone said, I see horses by him still running at a national level.

BHW's Simon Cowell Location: The Saudia Arabia of Wind Energy, Western Oklahoma	They are pretty hot. Keep in mind that Title Contenter was bred to a lot of good barrel type mares. He should have had some winners, and he did. I think they tended to be a little more fragile. His mare's side is very "barrel" friendly.
