 Thought I would share another update. If I get some pics later tonight I'll share. 

I have 2 geldings that are 1250+ pounds each. Granted they've not been getting worked, but they were on 2 pounds and I have had to cut them back. They were on 2 pounds of Total Equine prior and were doing well but it's really formulated to be fed at 4 pounds. 

I've had to cut them back to 1.5 pounds of the Balancer and cut out the half scoop of Alf cubes they were getting. They're still getting 1 cup rice & flax.  The suckers are getting fat! 

I've also noticed more energy- not necessarily a good thing with these 2 Yahoo's! The NSC value is 3% lower than the TE feed so I'm not sure why the uptake in energy. 

This time last year they were on a full scoop.of Strategy and everything else the same and they weren't holding their weight any better. So it's interesting they're doing as well as they are.

I'll be interested to see how they do thru the winter with less pasture and more hay.
