Trying to get my horse sound- been through a few exams, bone scan, x-rays. Last exam didn't get him to block out sound. Didn't try the whorl bone area. Wondering what symptoms your horse was exhibiting when this was needed?

Have you x-rayed the back? I wasted a lot of time and money injecting the whole back end of mine
(hocks, stifles, SI, whorlbone, etc
) and it was actually kissing spine in his back that caused all the problems. Just an idea...

Mine was simple. Started taking first barrel wide and when I would stretch his back legs out he wouldn't extend his back right which he normally does. Got it injected and good to go.

Lower back soreness. Very tender to touch around hip joint. SI and Whorlbone symptoms are very similar. Make sure you have a good lameness vet.
