Location: California | Soooo sometimes I like to make purses/bags and what not. This is the start of my next project.
Cowhide is greyish brown & white. I made the aztec cut out design & would like to inlay a different kind of leather.
What kind of leather would you think would look cool with this piece? (stingray, caiman, gator, ostrich, etc.)
Going to attach a pic, hopefully it doesn't flip sideways on me again.

Location: North Dakota | Where do you get your hides?? I have an awesome set of steer horns, I would like to put caiman or croc around and embellish a little bit, but am having a hard time finding an affordable piece. I personally would think dark brown ostrich would be cool under your hide cutout... |

Honestly, I find a lot of really awesome stuff on Ebay! Just make sure to read reviews! Otherwise Springfield Leather usually has a lot of great options... They get most of their stuff from Tandy Leather. Tandy is more expensive, but for me in CA, the shipping is cheaper because they are closer. |
