I Don't Brag Posts: 6960	Made my own with some light cord, tiny snaps and rather than use the reins I hade made with all the d rings in them, I just snap the tiny snaps on to my parachute cord barrel racing reins.

We know because we have been there with both cheap and top quality training tools. Some of the best professional tack are: Schultz Brothers http://www.schutzbrothers.com Or Cow Horse Supply http://www.cowhorsesupply.com One thing about them, it's easy to use them as a crutch. If you do this, you can regress the horse instead of help. Had someone at one of Katie's clinics. He was riding one and the horse was not using himself well. We asked him how often he rode in it and he said always. So, had him take it off and the horse's head went to the roof and he hollowed out and fell apart. You have to know how to use these type of things. They are training aids, but often times are used as training mechanisms. Doing so, is only effective while the mechanism is on and the goal of a training aid is for it to be effective when it's not on. Just an unsolicited tip. Edited by Tdove 2015-09-24 6:51 AM

Expert Posts: 2531 Location: WI	No, I prefer leather reins where the rings are stitched in. I had a set from Weaver where they rivet in each ring and it's just too heavy. The reins swing back and forth too much. Love my sets from L&W and they are very reasonably priced.
