Location: Idaho | Kind of looking to see what an embryo might be going for these days, when you are covering all vet costs and the stud fee. I know it will vary, but what would basically buying an egg from someone's mare cost? Thanks! |

Location: Gainesville, TX | A nice proven own daughter getting up there in years is usually $2500-5000. For your really top quality, NFR type mares you are likely talking $15000 or more. |

I think it varies greatly on the accomplishments of the mare.
I've seen some very average mares' embryos going for $1500-2000. But the likes of Firewater Fiesta and comparable are, understandably, much higher. |

Location: Texas | so those are actually eggs.
selling true embryos are those already in a recipient mare.
I've offered selling eggs out of my mares, which is where you pay for the egg, pay for the stud fee, pay for the ET..
they are just like with stud fees.. theres the 1k-2k ones, the 2-5k ones, 5-10k ones, and the 10k and plus ones. the 10k plus ones are the big name mares that have huge records, like NFR trips or multiple big futurity wins etc..

Location: Gainesville, TX | How many recips do you have? You better get lucky because they have to cycle just a couple days after your donor mare or it won't work which is usually why most places that do them have a lot of mares and use the whichever one is closest in cycle. |

so for mine...
our JOH daughter we advertised them at 2k a piece. she is an AQHYA world show qualifier and qualified for THSRA state finals several times, 1D record locally etc.. sent contracts out on that people weren't too shell shocked by that price.
My RD X Leavem Lucille mare i priced at the same amount with considerations if the person chose a stud I really wanted to see her crossed on, like frenchmans guy or DTF or whoever. she is a PRCA rodeo winner and has a 1D record at big shows like jurassic classic and ANHA, but wasn't a humongous money earner herself. her half sister Levin Lucille won a ton so her merit is a combination of her own record combined with her family. |

| That is not a high enough number to give yourself a good shot at them cycling together. You are wasting your time if your Recip isn't ready to take it when the mare cycles. You may get lucky with just the two, but odds are against you. Just a warning. Good luck. |
