What are your opinions on Bloomers. specifically a 2004, 2005,2006 model? Any pros/cons?
What do you think of the Poly Last flooring??

I appreciate any insight!

We have a 2003 model, and we love it.  Bought it from a friend of our last year. She did have to replace one of the water tanks, and the hydraulic jack. (both broke while someone else was borrowing it. I wasn't there for the tank, so don't know what happened, but the jack broke because the tailgate off the truck fell open while driving, just a freak accident)
Do check the floor in the horse compartment. We have mangers, and the welds on our floor run right in front of the mangers (they did change that later in the design), so with horses pushing against the manger wall and standing on the floor it made the welds separate a bit. It did not change the integrity of the floor, with all the crossbeams underneath there was never any chance of a horse going through there, but I still wanted it fixed. And Bloomer fixed this on their dime and withing a week of finding the issue. I can honestly say their customer service is awesome!
Yes they are higher priced, but I believe they are worth it. We don't have the poly last floor, so can't help you there, but I sure wouldn't mind having it.
Of course it also matters how they were cared for by the previous owners. But you should be able to see if it was used, or abused when you look at it.

Cant answer your question on the Bloomer cause Im a Platinum girl, but the Polylast flooring is amazing! I just had it put in my trailer in April and I cant believe I broke my back pulling mats for so long. It drains amazingly and there is NEVER any pee smell or anything like that. We sweep it out after horses are in it and wash after long trips. So so much better than mats! No need for shavings anymore either because there is no splatter, and its super comfy.. I did have mine built up in the back for better ride for the horses.

I have heard both great things and terrible things about them, but that comes with every trailer. I had two platinum's and both were lemons.
Up here in Canada a few friends of mine had issues with the welds breaking in the cold winters.

I have an '02 and love love LOVE it! My friends love it so much that they too went and bought Bloomers (older used ones as well). I have heard nothing but great things about the older modles but I believe the newer ones like maybe '09 and newer? Have some issues.

I loved my Bloomer- it was actually a 2011.  When I went to sell it I had buyers telling me they wouldn't want to buy any other kind of used trailer, because the Bloomer quality was so reputable.  They maintain their value more than alot of other trailers- if I get another LQ it will be a Bloomer-

What size LQ did you have? Was it extremely heavy in your opinion? Was it a 3 or 4 horse?

Mine was 31', three horse- no mid-tack, 15' short wall.  I loved it- I actually had people fighting for it when I sold it- I paid $111,000 for it new and got $95,000 easily for it 4 years later- I sold it in Arizona and the buyers came all the way from West Virginia to pick it up-

Mine is 29 1/2' on the floor. 4h with 12' LQ, haypod, mangers, on-board gen, awning, etc. It is a little heavy but pulls really nice other than with a headwind due to the haypod. The weight isn't a huge issue for me because it is quality and does not feel light and cheap. I love it and will probably stay a Bloomer girl. This trailer is already 13 years old and the 4 years we have had it have been rough since we live on lots of gravel but it is still in such nice shape. Like I said two of my friends have now gone out and bought Bloomers and another friend has one picked out she is hoping to get if she can get her's sold. They are nice trailers and I do not think you will be disappointed at all.

I love my Platinum. Excellent built trailer and pulls great. My only
Complaint would be I dislike the latches on the dividers.

Im on my 3rd Platinum and I cant say ANYTHING bad about these trailers. They are made well and hold up great. My 3horse 12'sw REALLY held its value and im in a 4horse 17'sw now that I will probably keep until the wheels fall off I love it so much. I really like the structural quality. I looked at trading it for a Bloomer 2 years ago, and after seeing the wear and tear a "demo" bloomer had that a girl was trying to sell me I'm so thankful to have my Platinum. I just dont think Bloomer makes them as sound as they used to.
I have alot of the upgrades on mine that Platinum offers. lowered latches on the windows, curb side escape, huge mangers, and the enclosed nose. They pull very easy and are not heavy like some other brands. great trailers!
