| This little angle officially became part of our family today! My neice and her husband have had her as a foster child through CPS for 20 months, she will be 4 in April. It was a long and emotional roller coaster, CPS was about to give her back to her mother even though they were still at the stage of supervised visits. It is complicated but the short version is a new CPS lawyer came on board 2 weeks ago and was shocked and alarmed at how the case has been handled. My niece and her husband were granted custody. Her bio mother will have visitation as long as she stays clean and stable.
