Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Saw this on the news last night, I know we have a few BB's that live there, I know for sure that Bear and his wife are there, I think Klugman, {not sure of the spelling of this name} is there too. Homes have been lost and more are in the path of the fire. This happened about 4 years ago and its happening again, Prayers going out to the people of Bastrop |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | Thanks for the thoughts. I'm worried because I'm up in Minnesota working, but I'm coming home tomorrow. Carol is managing OK, and that fire is probably 8-10 miles away. The smoke is getting worse, and supposedly the fire is moving away, more toward Elgin. It's more heavily wooded over there, and I'm worried about those folks. There have been some homes lost.
When I left home on Tuesday, the fire had just started and only involved about 120 acres. Now it's up over 10,000 acres, I think. No rain in sight and today will be hot again. If the wind shifts we could be in trouble. |

Prayers for your dad Does it look like they might get the fire under control any time soon? |

| So sad for this area, many prayers. It was still burnt up looking from the last fires and just starting to recover a little. Took my breath away to drive by there and see all the burned areas. |
