Just curious, what other events do you compete in besides barrel racing? Or do you do the entering for someone? |

Location: 'Hawk Country | You do realize that being a procom operator is pretty much a part time telemarketer job, don’t you. It’s not glamorous or high paying. It’s not PRCA employees working there. Plus, since the books don’t open until October 26, it wouldn’t be showing on the computer screen anyway.

The folks that I train for almost exclusively have daughters and a couple of other girls run other horses of theirs'. It just ends up being easiest for me to do all of the entering so that they all draw up where I need them to. |

Even if they aren't rodeo people that are working for ProCom, they still will have to go through training and I can't imagine they wouldn't mention the NFR, as I'm sure they have to make sure the operators need to know which contestests are eligible to enter. |

I know..... I know...... but you can't help but laugh a bit.
There's a call center on another floor in the building where I work....I can generally tell who works on that floor just by watching them walk into the building. It's comical. |

Location: 'Hawk Country | I feel sorry for the people who have to work there. Until you've had to work a job like that, I don't think you should be making fun. At least they are working.
The operators don't need to know who is eligible. They go through training on how to take entries and what parameters are used. The computer draws out ineligible people, not the operators. They don't make any decisions. They don't need to know a dang thing about anything else. They just take the entries, and as you know the rodeos are listed by CITY not NAME of rodeo. Granted there is only one NFR, but poor girl probably wasn't expecting that since entries don't open until the 26th.

I didn;t feel as though they were making fun of the operator, just sharing a funny moment. She did also say that she had set an alarm early for entries... |

| Oh come on....no one was MAKING FUN ...it even says that she called in early. We realize its "just a job" to some...
dont care how much it pays or how crappy it is...if they dont like it then they can work somewhere else...that really has nothing to do with the video.
Lets not make it more than it was ladies...for crying out loud...#somePeople LOL even my receptionist friend who has never been around a horse in her life, thinks they are repulsive, knew what the NFR is. Its not a big deal....someone who knows college football would easily laugh at me if I worked somewhere that has to do with College Football because I have no clue. No one is "making fun"...just goes to show how little people really know about our sport. CHILL OUT> LOL
The truth is there happens to be a select few on here that no matter the subject MUST disagree with whoever the majority it is LOL...its quite funny. The ones "coming to her defense" (who we dont even know who it is #1, and even said she called in too early #2 and NO ONE IS ATTACKING #3) will be the first to SLAM someone's confidence on this forum for asking a simple feed, riding, breeding, vet question. Get over it. IT WAS MEANT TO BE CUTE>>>>even said that she called in early. LAWD HAVE MERCY the things yall get in arms about is ridic.

Still a laugh, but did she see that coming by calling in early and saying it like that while on video? he,he |

| So on the one hand there's an operator who doesn't know what the NFR is, and on the other hand there's a World Champion trying to enter it 6 days early. I wonder if they're related. |

You don't have to go just because you qualify. |
