What brands are you finding to be the most comfortable and low profile?
I used to ride dressage and loved the Charles Owens but that was years ago. Also can anyone recommend someone to paint them?
I took a spill about 2 years ago that left me with major issues. I have been laying low riding old faithful and now the new prospect has me thinking I need a lid!

Charles Owens are still extremely comfortable. I also like the ovation helmets. Very comfortable and cost effective. I have a Charles Owen and GPA

I have a tipperary sportage. My suggestion is to try a bunch of brands on in a store if you are able. Some models fit well and others were a trainwreck. LOL

We don't have a lot of opitions around here to try on helmets but I love my Troxel sport

). I got it at TSC.

I used to run in a Troxel Intrepid and it was awesome.
(Busted into several pieces in our accident in August, but it lasted for over 2 years
)

I have a Tippery Sportage and I really like it. Nice and light and low profile.
I've tried Troxel before and they just don't fit my head. They aren't comfortable to me.

My son wears a Troxel Rebel helmet. He says that it is more comfortable than his cowboy hat.

If you want a plain color I would just paint it yourself but if you want a fancy design I would get on of fallon taylors.. I did notice I think she's riding with the tipperary helmets. I saw a pic from last night and thats what it looked like to me. They may not be fancy, but they offer the most protection by far due to the shape, they are low profile, and super comfortable. They actually fit your whole head vs just sitting like a heavy bowl on top of your head.

I have a Tipperary Sportage and a Troxel Intrepid that I like.
The Troxel has a little design on the side, I think the color is called Allure if you want to look it up.

I have a grey Ovation Schooler helmet that i'd sell. I have had it on my head twice and it's just too small. I'd love to sell and it and buy a replacement!
