I would not say that is a bad thing--it tells me that the people that have them are keeping them.

It's not bad. He has a decent amount of babies on the ground and I'm sure you will see them in other sales.. There's the BFA, Lance Graves, Fort Smith I think has one?? (maybe not)..

You'll find them PT too. We are breeding a mare to him next year and I didn't even bat an eye that there weren't any in there.

What I was thinking! You know he's putting foals on the ground.. Not seeing them in the sale catalog should be a good thing

I have a FG daughter bred to STF. If everything goes good I will put the foal up for sale PT. Since I have kids and live so far away I don't consign in the big auctions.

Lots of people do. Futurity world is an expensive business and quite a few people have the money to play the game

I have a Chasin Firewater x DTF yearling going through the sale and am currently fitting a palomino Stallion by Dash Ta Fame out of a Fire Water Flit daughter that is going through the sale and also bringing a First Down French out of an ASOF/DTF mare. So I will be there with these 3 if anyone is going to be there, stop by and say hello!!

That is a well attended sale and very well advertised and promoted sale. If I had a colt I wanted to sell through a sale, I would not hesitate to consign to it. Two of the other well known sales are held in the winter and the weather can certainly interfere with the attendance and the bidding as a result.

Just guessing, but they probably make more money than you do.

SO I really want to go to this sale but to purchase the mare I want I would like to have some xrays done and vet check. THat being said there is no guarantee that I will have enough to purchase the one I want. So.....I cant decide what to do....

Cameron Stoud of Texas Equine Hospital will be there to pre-purchase any sale horse you have interest in as will BVEH if you want someone else or a second opinion.
